Volos - Lamia 3-0

Volos managed to do it and with a victory over the already relegated Lamia (3-0) mathematically secured its stay in the Stoiximan Super League!

In the halls of the Stoiximan Super League, Volos will... thresh out the new season, with Achilleas Beou's team prevailing over Lamia with a score of 3-0 in the 8th round of the Play outs, thus mathematically securing its stay.

The Magnesia team was only looking for a victory in the Panthessaliko and did not care what would happen in the remaining games. Thus, with this "three points", the Volos reached 39 points and continued their excellent course in the "mini" championship, celebrating their 5th victory in the 8 games they have played. At the same time, Athens Kallithea is nowhere near Volos and will fight only with Panserraikos for the relegation, with two matches remaining until the end of the season.

Start with the foot on the gas

Volos showed from the very first minute that it is "burning" for the victory and with... good evening scored and found itself in a leading position. Lazaros Lambrou opened the scoring for the Magnesia team in just the 2nd minute, with the 27-year-old finding the net from close range after a nice turn by Juanpi for 1-0.

The next minutes flowed at the same pace, with the home team pressing all over the field for a second goal and to "clean up" the match as early as possible, with possession reaching up to 80-20%. The chances came for the Volos team, but not the goal, with the scorer of the 1-0 losing an unprecedented opportunity in the 26th minute, when Lambrou stepped into the area, passed Syritoudis, but then sent the ball to the right crossbar.

Volos "cleaned up" early

The first opportunity for Lamia came in the 32nd minute, when Toiso Lake went on the counterattack, went to hang the opposing goalkeeper, however, he sent the ball out. Somewhere there, the Volos team understood that the 1-0 is quite fluid, they increased the pace even more and doubled their goals.

In the 38th minute, Kostas Georgiadis' team won a corner, Ferrari crossed the ball and Hermansson, taking advantage of Syritoudis' poor run, headed home to make it 2-0. Now clearly having psychology on their side, the Volos team "struck" a third time before halftime, with Lambrou scoring his second personal goal of the match.

Juanpi made a terrific lob and single-handedly took out Ferrari, however his finish stopped on the post and on the rebound Lambrou sent the ball into the net unmolested and raised his score to 3-0.

In the second half, the pace of the match also dropped, with both teams knowing that the result had been decided and only the score was unknown. Ultimately, this did not change either, with the score remaining 3-0 until the final whistle, with the only notable moment in the second half being Katsikas hitting the post in the 56th minute after a powerful shot from outside the area.

Ο Βόλος τα κατάφερε και με νίκη επί της ήδη πεσμένης Λαμίας (3-0) εξασφάλισε και μαθηματικά την παραμονή του στη Stoiximan Super League!

Στα σαλόνια της Stoiximan Super League θα... αλωνίζει και τη νέα σεζόν ο Βόλος, με την ομάδα του Αχιλλέα Μπέου να επικρατεί της Λαμίας με σκορ 3-0 στο πλαίσιο της 8ης αγωνιστικής των Play out, εξασφαλίζοντας έτσι και μαθηματικά την παραμονή της. 

Η ομάδα της Μαγνησίας έψαχνε μόνο τη νίκη στο Πανθεσσαλικό και δεν την ενδιέφερε τι θα γίνει στα υπόλοιπα παιχνίδια. Έτσι, με αυτό το «τρίποντο», οι Βολιώτες έφτασαν τους 39 βαθμούς και συνέχισαν την εξαιρετική τους πορεία στο «μίνι» πρωτάθλημα, πανηγυρίζοντας την 5η τους νίκη στα 8 παιχνίδια που έχουν δώσει. Την ίδια ώρα, η Athens Καλλιθέα δεν προλαβαίνει με τίποτα τον Βόλο και θα δώσει μάχη μόνο με τον Πανσερραϊκό για την παραμονή, με δύο αγωνιστικές να απομένουν για τη λήξη της σεζόν.

Ξεκίνημα με το πόδι στο γκάζι

Ο Βόλος έδειξε από το πρώτο κιόλας λεπτό πως «καίγεται» για τη νίκη και με το... καλησπέρα σκόραρε και βρέθηκε σε θέση οδηγού. Ο Λάζαρος Λάμπρου άνοιξε το γκολ για την ομαδα της Μαγνησίας μόλις στο 2ο λεπτό, με τον 27χρονο να βρίσκει δίχτυα από κοντά έπειτα από ωραίο γύρισμα του Χουάνπι για το 1-0. 

Τα επόμενα λεπτά κύλησαν με το ανάλογο τέμπο, με τους γηπεδούχους να πιέζουν σε ολο το γήπεδο για ένα δέυτερο τέρμα και να «καθαρίσουν» το ματς όσο πιο νωρίς, με την κατοχή να φτάνει μέχρι και το 80-20%. Οι φάσεις ήρθαν για τους Βολιώτες, όχι όμως και το γκολ, με τον σκόρερ του 1-0 να χάνει μία ανεπανάληπτη ευκαιρία στο 26΄, όταν ο Λάμπρου πάτησε περιοχή, πέρασε και τον Συριτούδη, αλλά στη συνέχεια έστειλε τη μπάλα στο δεξί κάθετο δοκάρι.

«Καθάρισε» από νωρίς ο Βόλος

Η πρώτη ευκαιρια για τη Λαμία ήρθε στο 32', όταν ο Τόισο Λέικ έφυγε στην κόντρα, πήγε να κρεμάσει τον αντίπαλο τερματοφύλακα, ωστόσο έστειλε τη μπάλα άουτ. Κάπου εκεί οι Βολιώτες κατάλαβαν πως το 1-0 είναι αρκετά ρευστό, ανέβασαν ακόμη περισσότερο ρυθμό και διπλασίασαν τα τέρματά τους.

Στο 38ο λεπτό η ομάδα του Κώστα Γεωργιάδη κέρδισε κόρνερ, ο Φεράρι έκανε τη σέντρα και ο Χέρμανσον εκμεταλλευόμενος την κακή έξοδο του Συριτούδη με κεφαλιά έκανε το 2-0. Έχοντας πλέον ξεκάθαρα και την ψυχολογία με το μέρος τους, οι Βολιώτες «χτύπησαν» και τρίτη φορά πριν το ημίχρονο, με τον Λάμπρου να πετυχαίνει το δεύτερο προσωπικό του τέρμα στο ματς.

Ο Χουάνπι έκανε μία τρομερή λόμπα και έβγαλε μόνο του τον Φεράρι, ωστόσο το τελείωμά του σταμάτησε στο δοκάρι και στην επαναφορά ο Λάμπρου έστειλε ανενόχλητος τη μπάλα στα δίχτυα και ανέβασε τον δείκτη του σκορ στο 3-0.

Στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο έπεσε και ο ρυθμός της αναμέτρησης, με τις δύο ομάδες να γνωρίζουν πως το αποτέλεσμα έχει κριθεί και μόνο το σκορ δεν ήταν γνωστό. Τελικά ούτε αυτό άλλαξε, με το 3-0 να μένει μέχρι το σφύριγμα της ληξης, με μόνη αξιόλογη φάση στο δεύτερο μέρος το δοκάρι του Κάτσικα στο 56' μετά από ένα δυνατό σουτ εκτός περιοχής.
