Run Greece of Alexandroupolis is running this year for the victims of the Evros fire, as the proceeds of the race, which will take place on September 24, will be entirely allocated to the people affected by last month's fires.

This decision was taken unanimously by the Board of Directors of SEGAS, in its last meeting and has already found a response from runners all over the country.

The interest in the match is already very high and it is expected that the organization of Alexandroupolis will develop into an action of social solidarity.

The next race of the Run Greece series will take place on Sunday (17/9) in Kastoria, while on the 24th of the month, together with Alexandroupoli, the Patras race will be held.

Το Run Greece της Αλεξανδρούπολης τρέχει φέτος για τους πυρόπληκτους του Έβρου, καθώς τα έσοδα του αγώνα, που θα γίνει στις 24 Σεπτεμβρίου θα διατεθούν εξολοκλήρου στους ανθρώπους που επλήγησαν από τις πυρκαγιές του περασμένου μήνα.

Την απόφαση αυτή έλαβε ομόφωνα το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του ΣΕΓΑΣ, στην τελευταία του συνεδρίαση και βρήκε ήδη ανταπόκριση από δρομείς σε όλη τη χώρα.

Το ενδιαφέρον για τον αγώνα είναι ήδη πολύ μεγάλο και αναμένεται η διοργάνωση της Αλεξανδρούπολης να εξελιχθεί σε μια δράση κοινωνικής αλληλεγγύης.

Ο επόμενος αγώνας της σειράς Run Greece θα γίνει την Κυριακή (17/9) στην Καστοριά, ενώ στις 24 του μήνα μαζί με την Αλεξανδρούπολη θα διεξαχθεί και ο αγώνα της Πάτρας.
