Villarreal: Pacetta took charge of the rival of Panathinaikos
Villarreal announced the recruitment of Paceta for the bench. The 55-year-old Spanish coach agreed with the yellow submarine until the end of the year.
Villarreal did not ultimately proceed with an agreement with Raul Gonzalez, instead announcing the hiring of Paceta. The 55-year-old Spanish coach was the management's choice to replace Quique Setien, who was removed after the yellow submarine's poor start.
The agreement between the two sides is to take over the team until the end of the year. The debut will be in the match against Almeria for La Liga on September 17, while the match against Panathinaikos at OAKA for the premiere of the Europa League groups follows.

Η Βιγιαρεάλ ανακοίνωσε την πρόσληψη του Πατσέτα για τον πάγκο. Ο 55χρονος Ισπανός τεχνικός συμφώνησε με το κίτρινο υποβρύχιο μέχρι και το τέλος της χρονιάς.
Η Βιγιαρεάλ δεν προχώρησε τελικά σε συμφωνία με τον Ραούλ Γκονζάλεθ, αντίθετα ανακοίνωσε την πρόσληψη του Πατσέτα. Ο 55χρονος Ισπανός τεχνικός ήταν ο εκλεκτός της διοίκησης για να αντικαταστήσει τον Κίκε Σετιέν, ο οποίος απομακρύνθηκε μετά το άσχημο ξεκίνημα του κίτρινου υποβρυχίου.
Η συμφωνία μεταξύ των δύο πλευρών είναι να αναλάβει την ομάδα μέχρι και το τέλος της χρονιάς. Το ντεμπούτο θα είναι στο ματς με την Αλμερία για τη La Liga στις 17 Σεπτεμβρίου, ενώ ακολουθεί η αναμέτρηση με τον Παναθηναϊκό στο ΟΑΚΑ για την πρεμιέρα των ομίλων του Europa League.
