Ο Ατρόμητος φιλοξενήθηκε από τη Λαμία σε φιλικό παιχνίδι μία εβδομάδα πριν από την έναρξη της Stoiximan Super League. Οι Περιστιερώτες επικράτησαν 2-0 με Γιουμπιτάνα και Ανγκιέλσκι.

Την επόμενη εβδομάδα εκκινεί η Stoiximan Super League, και η Λαμία με τον Ατρόμητο σε αναμέτρησή τους στο Αθανάσιος Διάκος έκαναν την πρόβα τζενεράλε τους. Οι Περιστεριώτες επικράτησαν 2-0 των Φθιωτών.

Στο 10ο λεπτό ο Ατρόμητος άνοιξε το σκορ. Ο Αγκιμπού Καμαρά, ο οποίος πραγματοποίησε καλή εμφάνιση, έκανε το γύρισμα από τα δεξιά, με τον Γιουμπιτάνα με ωραίο πλασέ να στέλνει την μπάλα στα δίχτυα.

Στο 19' ο Καμαρά ξεπέρασε δύο αντιπάλους του με πολύ όμορφο, με την μπάλα στη συνέχεια να φτάνει στον Ανγκιέλσκι που έκανε το 2-0. Η Λαμία είχε δοκάρι στο 16' με απευθείας εκτέλεση φάουλ του Ακούνια.
