He fought, but the National team did not make it in Poland

The Men's Futsal National Team succumbed to the superiority of Poland, losing 3-0 in the premiere of the World Cup qualifiers.

The Men's National Team fought as hard as they could, they were competitive for much of the first half, but in the end they lost 3-0 to their Polish counterparts at the Municipal Hall Jastrzebie Zdroj for the first matchday of the 6th qualifying group (Main Round) of the Futsal World Cup 2024.

The goals for the Poles were scored by Mrowiec after an assist by Kubic in the 16th minute and Zastavnik in the 17th. Two goals in just a few seconds, which brought the team to its knees psychologically, as it looked like they could go to the dressing room with a clean draw and transfer the pressure to the opponent.

Spihalski made the final 3-0 with a shot at 25?. From then on, things went their way, our internationals tried for the goal of honor, while the hosts "locked" the match and did not risk any further. The more experienced Poles won justly, with our National Team keeping some good intervals.

The national team (No. 36 in the world ranking) after the match against Poland (No. 16), will face the favorite for the first place in the group, Azerbaijan (No. 7) on October 11 at the "Theodoros Putos" indoor gym of Korydallos. The qualification to the Elite Round is won by the leaders of each group, as well as the 4 best runners-up of the 12 qualifying groups, while the remaining runners-up (8) participate in the play offs.

Στην ανωτερότητα της Πολωνίας υπέκυψε η Εθνική Ανδρών στο futsal, χάνοντας 3-0 στην πρεμιέρα των προκριματικών του Παγκοσμίου Κυπέλλου.

Η Εθνική Ανδρών πάλεψε όσο μπορούσε, ήταν ανταγωνιστική σε μεγάλο μέρος του πρώτου ημιχρόνου, αλλά εντέλει ηττήθηκε 3-0 από την αντίστοιχη της Πολωνίας στο Municipal Hall Jastrzebie Zdroj για την πρώτη αγωνιστική του 6ου προκριματικού ομίλου (Main Round) του Παγκοσμίου Κυπέλλου Futsal 2024.

Τα γκολ για τους Πολωνούς σημείωσαν ο Μρόβιεκ μετά από ασίστ του Κιούμπικ στο 16ο λεπτό και ο Ζάσταβνικ στο 17ο. Δυο τέρματα μέσα σε ελάχιστα δευτερόλεπτα, τα οποία “γονάτισαν” ψυχολογικά την ομάδα, καθώς έδειχνε να μπορεί να πάει με τη λευκή ισοπαλία στα αποδυτήρια και να μεταφέρει την πίεση στον αντίπαλο.

Το τελικό 3-0 διαμόρφωσε ο Σπιχάλσκι με σουτ στο 25?. Από ‘κει και πέρα, τα πράγματα είχαν πάρει τον δρόμο τους, οι διεθνείς μας προσπάθησαν για το γκολ της τιμής, ενώ οι γηπεδούχοι “κλείδωσαν” το ματς και δεν κινδύνεψαν περαιτέρω. Πιο έμπειροι οι Πολωνοί, νίκησαν δίκαια, με την Εθνική μας να κρατάει ορισμένα καλά διαστήματά της.

Η Εθνική (No36 στο παγκόσμιο ranking) μετά την αναμέτρηση με την Πολωνία (Νο16), θα αντιμετωπίσει το φαβορί για την πρωτιά του ομίλου, Αζερμπαϊτζάν (Νο7) στις 11 Οκτωβρίου στο Κλειστό γυμναστήριο Κορυδαλλού «Θεόδωρος Πούτος». Την πρόκριση στο Elite Round κατακτούν οι επικεφαλής κάθε ομίλου, καθώς και οι 4 καλύτεροι δεύτεροι των 12 προκριματικών ομίλων, ενώ οι υπόλοιποι δεύτεροι (8) συμμετέχουν στα play off.
