Volley League: Back to the playoffs

After two years ESAP decided to return the playoffs, in which the first 4 teams of the regular season will take part. Staying in the category will be decided with a mini-championship.

In detail, ESAP's announcement is as follows: "The Board of Directors of ESAP, at the meeting of July 26, decided the following regarding the system for conducting the Volley League championship and the Nikos Samaras League Cup:

Volleyball League Championship 2022-23

The 10 teams will compete in the A phase. There will be a total of 18 matches with the one-to-all system. The 18 matches of the A phase will be divided into two rounds. Each team will play a total of 18 matches, 9 at home, 9 away.

* In phase B, the teams will be divided into three groups according to their ranking position after the 18th matchday.

* The top 4 teams will play in a playoff. Both semi-finals (1-4) and finals (1-2) which will decide the champion will be played on the 3 wins. The first match will be played at the home of the team with the highest score, followed by alternating matches at the home of each team.

*The teams that will be placed in 5th and 6th place after the 18th matchday will play each other for the 5th place that leads to the Balkan Cup or under conditions to the European Cups.

*The teams that will be placed in the positions from 7th to 10th will play a mini-league against each other. They will carry over their score from Phase A. The top two teams in the standings will stay in the division and two will be relegated to the Pre League.

Nikos Samaras League Cup 2022-23

In the first phase of the Nikos Samaras League Cup, the three new teams in the division and OFI, which finished in 7th place in the 2021-22 season, will participate. There will be a draw that will result in two couples who will play double matches to qualify for the B-phase. Most likely both matches of each pair will be played at a common venue to avoid long journeys but this will be decided at the next meeting of the Board of Directors. on Tuesday, August 2..

The 2 teams that will qualify from the 1st phase and the first 6 teams of the 2021-22 championship ranking will participate in the 2nd phase. They will form 4 pairs and there will be double matches at home - away.

The semi-final and the final phase will have double finals, while in the D.D. on 2/8, the case of becoming a final-4 will be discussed.

Draw - Start

The draw for the championship and the pairs of the A'phase of the Nikos Samaras League Cup will take place in Skydra in September. The date will be announced soon.

The 2022-23 Volley League will begin on October 22, 2022.

The first phase of the Nikos Samaras League Cup will begin on October 15, 2022.

Super Cup

Normally, the 2022-23 Super Cup will be held between the champion Panathinaikos and the cup winner PAOK. The administration of OFH undertook to make the first exploratory contact. for the race to take place in Heraklion, Crete.

* ESAP's legal advisor Christos Iliadis informed all representatives about legal issues and matters concerning the supporting documents for licensing by the Professional Sports Committee.

* Issues of announcing the championship and the League Cup and television issues will be discussed at the next meeting of the Board of Directors. scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2022."

*** Volley League: Επιστροφή στα playoffs

Μετά από δύο χρόνια η ΕΣΑΠ αποφάσισε την επιστροφή των playoffs, στο οποίο θα λάβουν μέρος οι 4 πρώτες ομάδες της κανονικής διάρκειας. Με μίνι πρωτάθλημα θα κριθεί η παραμονή στην κατηγορία.

Αναλυτικά η ανακοίνωση της ΕΣΑΠ έχει ως εξής: «Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της ΕΣΑΠ στη συνεδρίαση της 26ης Ιουλίου αποφάσισε τα ακόλουθα σχετικά με το σύστημα διεξαγωγής του πρωταθλήματος Volley League και του Λιγκ Καπ Νίκος Σαμαράς:

Πρωτάθλημα Volley League 2022-23

Στην Α φάση θα αγωνιστούν οι 10 ομάδες. Θα γίνουν συνολικά 18 αγωνιστικές με το σύστημα ένας προς όλους. Οι 18 αγωνιστικές της Α φάσης θα είναι χωρισμένες σε δύο γύρους. Κάθε ομάδα θα δώσει συνολικά 18 αγώνες, 9 εντός έδρας, 9 εκτός έδρας.

* Στην Β φάση οι ομάδες θα χωριστούν σε τρία γκρουπ ανάλογα με τη βαθμολογική τους θέση μετά την 18η αγωνιστική.

* Οι 4 πρώτες ομάδες θα παίξουν σε πλέι οφ. Τόσο οι ημιτελικοί (1-4) όσο και οι τελικοί (1-2) που θα κρίνουν τον πρωταθλητή θα παιχτούν στις 3 νίκες. Ο πρώτος αγώνας θα γίνει στην έδρα της ομάδας με την υψηλότερη βαθμολογία και θα ακολουθήσουν εναλλάξ αναμετρήσεις στην έδρα κάθε ομάδας.

*Οι ομάδες που θα πλασαριστούν στην 5η και στην 6η θέση μετά την 18η αγωνιστική θα παίξουν μεταξύ τους για την 5η θέση που οδηγεί στο Βαλκανικό Κύπελλο ή υπό προϋποθέσεις στα Κύπελλα Ευρώπης.

*Οι ομάδες που θα πλασαριστούν στις θέσεις από 7η έως 10η θα παίξουν μεταξύ τους μίνι πρωτάθλημα. Θα μεταφέρουν τη βαθμολογία τους από την Α΄φάση. Οι δύο πρώτες ομάδες της βαθμολογίας θα μείνουν στην κατηγορία και δύο θα υποβιβαστούν στην Pre League.

Λιγκ Καπ Νίκος Σαμαράς 2022-23

Στην Α΄φάση του Λιγκ Καπ Νίκος Σαμαράς θα συμμετάσχουν οι τρεις νεοφώτιστες ομάδες στην κατηγορία και ο ΟΦΗ που τερμάτισε στην 7η θέση της σεζόν 2021-22. Θα γίνει κλήρωση που θα προκύψουν δύο ζευγάρια τα οποία θα δώσουν διπλούς αγώνες για την πρόκριση στη Β΄φάση. Πιθανότατα και οι δύο αγώνες κάθε ζευγαριού να γίνουν σε κοινή έδρα για να αποφευχθούν μεγάλες μετακινήσεις αλλά αυτό θα αποφασιστεί στην επόμενη συνεδρίαση του Δ.Σ. την Τρίτη 2 Αυγούστου..

Στην Β΄φάση θα συμμετάσχουν οι 2 ομάδες που θα προκριθούν από την Α΄φάση και οι 6 πρώτες ομάδες της κατάταξης του πρωταθλήματος 2021-22. Θα σχηματίσουν 4 ζευγάρια και θα γίνουν διπλοί αγώνες εντός - εκτός έδρας.

Η ημιτελική και η τελική φάση θα έχει διπλούς τελικούς, ενώ στο Δ.Σ. της 2/8 θα συζητηθεί η περίπτωση να γίνει φάιναλ-4.

Κλήρωση - Έναρξη

Η κλήρωση του πρωταθλήματος και των ζευγαριών της Α΄φάσης του Λιγκ Καπ Νίκος Σαμαράς θα γίνει στην Σκύδρα τον Σεπτέμβριο. Η ημερομηνία θα ανακοινωθεί το προσεχές διάστημα.

Το πρωτάθλημα Volley League 2022-23 θα αρχίσει 22 Οκτωβρίου 2022.

Η Α΄φάση του Λιγκ Καπ Νίκος Σαμαράς θα αρχίσει 15 Οκτωβρίου 2022.

Σούπερ Καπ

Κανονικά θα διεξαχθεί το Σούπερ Καπ 2022-23 μεταξύ του πρωταθλητή Παναθηναϊκού και του κυπελλούχου ΠΑΟΚ. Πρώτη διερευνητική επαφή ανέλαβε να κάνει η διοίκηση του Ο.Φ.Η. για να γίνει ο αγώνας στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης.

* Ο νομικός σύμβουλος της ΕΣΑΠ Χρήστος Ηλιάδης ενημέρωσε όλους τους εκπροσώπους για νομικά ζητήματα και θέματα που αφορούν τα δικαιολογητικά για την αδειοδότηση από την Επιτροπή Επαγγελματικού Αθλητισμού.

* Ζητήματα προκήρυξης του πρωταθλήματος και του Λιγκ Καπ και τηλεοπτικά θέματα θα συζητηθούν στην επόμενη συνεδρίαση του Δ.Σ. που προγραμματίστηκε την Τρίτη 2 Αυγούστου 2022».
