Barcelona: Talks with Xavi have begun

The management of Barcelona has reportedly started contacts with Xavi, in order to take over the technical leadership of the team next summer.

According to reports in the Catalan press, the veteran footballer appears positive in the possibility of returning to Barcelona and undertaking the "building" of the new team of "Blaugrana", as long as he receives some guarantees from the Laporta administration. The same reports state that Joan Laporta has personally taken over the contacts with Xavi and that the official announcements are expected after the end of this season, when Ronald Koeman will be officially informed that the cooperation between the two sides will not continue.

Η διοίκηση της Μπαρτσελόνα φέρεται να έχει ξεκινήσει επαφές με τον Τσάβι, προκειμένου να αναλάβει την τεχνική ηγεσία της ομάδας το ερχόμενο καλοκαίρι.

Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα του καταλανικού Τύπου, ο παλαίμαχος ποδοσφαιριστής εμφανίζεται θετικός στο ενδεχόμενο να επιστρέψει στη Βαρκελώνη και να αναλάβει το “χτίσιμο” της νέας ομάδας των “μπλαουγκράνα”, αρκεί να πάρει κάποιες εγγυήσεις από τη διοίκηση Λαπόρτα. Τα ίδια δημοσιεύματα αναφέρουν πως τις επαφές με τον Τσάβι έχει αναλάβει προσωπικά ο Ζοάν Λαπόρτα και πως οι επίσημες ανακοινώσεις αναμένονται μετά το τέλος της εφετινής σεζόν, όταν και θα ενημερωθεί επισήμως ο Ρόναλντ Κούμαν, πως δε θα συνεχιστεί η συνεργασία των δυο πλευρών.
