Stefanos Tsitsipas eliminated Felix Oze Aliasim 6-3, 6-3 and will play on Saturday (14:30, Cosmote Sport 6) in the semifinal of the Barcelona Open with the Italian Yannick Siner.
For the 2nd time in his career, Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for the "4" of the Barcelona Open.
The top Greek tennis player eliminated the Canadian (No20) Felix Oze Aliasim in 1.22 'with 6-3, 6-3 in the quarterfinal and will play on Saturday (14:30) in the semifinal with the Italian Yannick Siner.
This was the 25th victory (1st to 26th Rublev) of Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2021 which will qualify for the 5th time in a semifinal during the year. He also reached his 4-2 victories with Aliasim while with the 19-year-old Italian Yannick Sinner (No. 19) he has 1-1 (2 games in Rome on the ground).
At the same time, it is his 8th consecutive victory in the Tour and in fact without losing a set!
Stefanos Tsitsipas returns to the semifinals in Barcelona after 2018 where he had gone to the final and was defeated by Rafa Nadal.
The Greek had 11 winners and only 9 effortlessly and the Canadian 15-18. The break points are 3/5 and 0/3.

In the 1st set, Felix Oze Aliasim will reach a triple break point in the 2nd game but Stefanos Tsitsipas will erase it to equalize at 1-1. The Canadian will keep his serve for 2-1.
Stefanos Tsitsipas equalizes at 2-2 and with a break he will lead 3-2! He will defend his serve for 4-2 but the Canadian reduces to 4-3.
The Greek will comfortably go to 5-3 and with a break will close at 6-3 in 47 '.

Για 2η φορά στην καριέρα του ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς προκρίθηκε στους "4" του Barcelona Open.
Ο κορυφαίος Έλληνας τενίστας απέκλεισε σε 1.22' με 6-3, 6-3 τον Καναδό (Νο20) Φελίξ Οζε Αλιασίμ στον προημιτελικό και θα παίξει το Σάββατο (14:30) στον ημιτελικό με τον Ιταλό Γιανίκ Σίνερ.
Αυτή ήταν η 25η νίκη (1ος με 26 ο Ρούμπλεφ) του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά στο 2021 που θα προκριθεί για 5η φορά σε ημιτελικό μέσα στη χρονιά. Ακόμη έφτασε στο 4-2 τις νίκες του με τον Αλιασίμ ενώ με τον 19χρονο Ιταλό Γιανίκ Σίνερ (Νο19) έχει 1-1 (2 παιχνίδια στη Ρώμη στο χώμα).
Παράλληλα είναι η 8η συνεχόμενη νίκη του στο Tour και μάλιστα χωρίς απώλεια σετ!
Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς επιστρέφει σε ημιτελικό στη Βαρκελώνη μετά από το 2018 όπου και είχε πάει τελικό και είχε ηττηθεί από τον Ράφα Ναδάλ.
Ο Έλληνας είχε 11 winners και μόλις 9 αβίαστα και ο Καναδός 15-18. Τα μπρέικ πόιντ είναι 3/5 και 0/3.
Επέστρεψε και επικράτησε!
Στο 1ο σετ ο Φελίξ Οζε Αλιασίμ θα φτάσει σε τριπλό μπρέικ πόιντ στο 2ο γκέιμ αλλά ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα το σβήσει για να ισοφαρίσει σε 1-1. Θα κρατήσει το σερβίς του ο Καναδός για το 2-1.
Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς ισοφαρίζει σε 2-2 και με μπρέικ θα προηγηθεί με 3-2! Θα υπερασπιστεί το σερβίς του για το 4-2 αλλά ο Καναδός μειώνει σε 4-3.
Ο Έλληνας με άνεση θα πάει στο 5-3 και με μπρέικ θα κλείσει στο 6-3 σε 47'.

Με love service game θα ξεκινήσει στο 2ο σετ ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς και με μπρέικ θα φτάσει στο 3-1!
