Οι Πειραιώτες, όπως αναμενόταν, εξάσκησαν την Παρασκευή (09/01) το δικαίωμά τους για αναβολή ενός αγώνα, όπως έκανε επίσημα γνωστό η Stoiximan Super League, στο πλαίσιο της καλύτερης προετοιμασίας τους για το κομβικό παιχνίδι με την Μπάγερ Λεβερκούζεν (20/01) για την 7η αγωνιστική της League Phase του Champions League.

Η εξέλιξη αυτή σημαίνει πως θα διεξαχθεί κανονικά το ντέρμπι με την ΑΕΚ την 1η Φεβρουαρίου στην OPAP Arena, το οποίο ήταν επίσης μια πιθανή αναμέτρηση προς αναβολή, αφού έρχεται λίγες ημέρες μετά το εκτός έδρας παιχνίδι του Ολυμπιακού με τον Άγιαξ.
