AO Thiras strengthens its wings with Sand

AO Thiras announced the acquisition of Adanna Lauran Schad, who will strengthen the Santorini team for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old American winger has significant experience from the US university championship, while she has also competed at a professional level in Puerto Rico and Italy, even winning titles.

"The management of AO Thiras is pleased to announce the start of cooperation with the American athlete Adanna Lauran Schad for the rest of the 2025-2026 season.

Born in Austin, Texas on October 10, 1999, the 26-year-old winger, 1.83 m tall, was known in the sport as Adanna Rollins before marrying NFL ace Keonte Schad.

She successfully combined her athletic career with her academic career, since Sand has a degree in Business and Marketing, while competing at the top level of the NCAA with 3 university teams (Minnesota, Penn State, Kentucky) and won a multitude of important distinctions and titles.

As a professional, Sand competed in the Puerto Rican and Italian championships with, and respectively. During her tenure in the Puerto Rican LVSF League, she won the championship with Pinkin de Corozal in 2022-23. The following season, he emerged as the league's top winger for Changas de Naranjito. In 2024-2025, he played for a while in the Italian Serie A2 with the "colors" of Akademia Sant'Anna in Messina and then returned to Changas de Naranjito.

Ο ΑΟ Θήρας ανακοίνωσε την απόκτηση της Αντάνα Λοράν Σαντ, η οποία θα ενισχύσει την ομάδα της Σαντορίνης για το υπόλοιπο της αγωνιστικής περιόδου.

Η 26χρονη Αμερικανίδα ακραία διαθέτει σημαντική εμπειρία από το πανεπιστημιακό πρωτάθλημα των ΗΠΑ, ενώ έχει αγωνιστεί και σε επαγγελματικό επίπεδο σε Πουέρτο Ρίκο και Ιταλία, φτάνοντας και στην κατάκτηση τίτλων.

«Η διοίκηση του Α.Ο. Θήρας ανακοινώνει με χαρά την έναρξη συνεργασίας με την Αμερικανίδα αθλήτρια Αντάνα Λοράν Σαντ (Adanna Lauran Schad) για το υπόλοιπο της σεζόν 2025-2026.

Γεννημένη στο Όστιν του Τέξας στις 10 Οκτωβρίου 1999, η 26χρονη ακραία, ύψους 1,83μ., πριν παντρευτεί τον άσο του NFL, Keonte Schad, ήταν γνωστή στο άθλημα ως Αντάνα Ρόλινς (Adanna Rollins).

Συνδύασε με απόλυτη επιτυχία την αθλητική της καριέρα παράλληλα με την ακαδημαϊκή σταδιοδρομία, αφού η Σαντ είναι πτυχιούχος Business and Marketing, ενώ παράλληλα αγωνιζόμενη στο κορυφαίο επίπεδο του NCAA με 3 πανεπιστημιακές ομάδες (Μινεσότα, Πεν Στέιτ, Κεντάκι) κατέκτησε πληθώρα σημαντικών διακρίσεων και τίτλων.

Ως επαγγελματίας η Σάντ αγωνίστηκε στα πρωταθλήματα του Πόρτο Ρίκο και της Ιταλίας με τις, και αντίστοιχα. Στη θητεία της στην πορτορικανή Λίγκα LVSF κατέκτησε με την Pinkin de Corozal το πρωτάθλημα το 2022-23. Την επόμενη σεζόν αναδείχθηκε κορυφαία ακραία του πρωταθλήματος για λογαριασμό της Changas de Naranjito. Το 2024-2025 αγωνίστηκε για ένα διάστημα στην ιταλική Serie A2 με τα «χρώματα» της Akademia Sant’Anna στη Μεσίνα και στη συνέχεια επέστρεψε στην Changas de Naranjito.
