The Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) has presented the first images from the renovation of the Panathinaikos Stadium, with a new Diamond League tartan, cleaned marbles and modern lighting.

The Panathinaikos Stadium is changing its appearance and the Hellenic Olympic Committee has released the first images from the renovation that is currently underway. The historic Kallimarmaro is now taking on a modern form, with interventions that raise it to the level of international events.

At the heart of the work is the new Diamond League-standard tartan, which will allow the hosting of top athletics competitions. At the same time, extensive cleaning of the marbles has begun, while the lighting is being completely renewed to highlight the monumental character of the Stadium.

The renovation is being implemented by the HOC with funding from Capital Maritime & Trading Corp. by Vangelis Marinakis, breathing new life into one of the most emblematic sports venues in the country.

The images published capture how Kallimarmaro will be shaped after the completion of the works, confirming that the historic Stadium is entering a new era, combining its heritage with modern sports specifications.

Η ΕΟΕ παρουσίασε τις πρώτες εικόνες από την ανακαίνιση του Παναθηναϊκού Σταδίου, με νέο ταρτάν Diamond League, καθαρισμένα μάρμαρα και σύγχρονο φωτισμό.

Το Παναθηναϊκό Στάδιο αλλάζει όψη και η Ελληνική Ολυμπιακή Επιτροπή έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα τις πρώτες εικόνες από την ανακαίνιση που βρίσκεται σε εξέλιξη. Το ιστορικό Καλλιμάρμαρο αποκτά πλέον σύγχρονη μορφή, με παρεμβάσεις που το ανεβάζουν σε επίπεδο διεθνών διοργανώσεων.

Στο επίκεντρο των εργασιών βρίσκεται το νέο ταρτάν προδιαγραφών Diamond League, το οποίο θα επιτρέψει τη φιλοξενία κορυφαίων αγώνων στίβου. Παράλληλα, έχουν ξεκινήσει εκτεταμένοι καθαρισμοί στα μάρμαρα, ενώ ο φωτισμός ανανεώνεται πλήρως ώστε να αναδεικνύει το μνημειακό χαρακτήρα του Σταδίου.

Η ανακαίνιση υλοποιείται από την ΕΟΕ με χρηματοδότηση της Capital Maritime & Trading Corp. του Βαγγέλη Μαρινάκη, δίνοντας νέα πνοή σε έναν από τους πιο εμβληματικούς αθλητικούς χώρους της χώρας.

Οι εικόνες που δημοσιεύτηκαν αποτυπώνουν το πώς θα διαμορφωθεί το Καλλιμάρμαρο μετά την ολοκλήρωση των έργων, επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι το ιστορικό Στάδιο μπαίνει σε μια νέα εποχή, συνδυάζοντας την κληρονομιά του με σύγχρονες αθλητικές προδιαγραφές.
