Vikos Ioanninon has strengthened its perimeter line with the acquisition of Shannon Bogges, an American guard with experience from the G League and major European championships.

Vikos Ioanninon announced the start of its collaboration with Shannon Bogges, who is an important addition to the team ahead of the new Stoiximan GBL season.

The 29-year-old American guard was born on February 20, 1997 in Baltimore, Maryland, is 1.91 m tall and plays in the guard positions.

Last season, he played in the French Betclic Elite with Le Mans, recording 9.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

Shannon Bogues, born on February 20, 1997 in Baltimore, Maryland, is 1.91 m tall and plays in the guard position.

His career began at McLennan Community College and Stephen F. Austin University, where he established himself as one of the top scorers in his region and was twice honored with the selection in the second best five of the Southland Conference.

After graduation, he followed a remarkable professional path, competing in the Wisconsin Herd and the Capital City Go-Go of the NBA G League, while he then wore the jerseys of GTK Gliwice (Poland), Apollon Limassol (Cyprus), SAM Massagno (Switzerland), Alliance Sport Alsace and Le Mans Sarthe Basket in France.

In the 2024-25 season, he had an impressive year with Alliance Sport Alsace in the French Pro B, finishing the season with 17.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3 assists on average, performances that earned him a transfer to Le Mans Sarthe Basket, one of the most historic teams in the French Betclic Elite.

Last season (2025-26) he competed with Le Mans in the top league of France, recording 9.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks per game, confirming his ability to respond to the highest level of European basketball.
