Aris Betsson announces Tanoulis

Aris Betsson has formalized its agreement with Giorgos Tanoulis for the 2026-27 season.

Olympiacos announced the end of its collaboration with Giorgos Tanoulis a few days ago and today (21/6) Aris Betsson formalized its agreement with the tall Greek for the next season.

The announcement in detail:

"KAE ARIS Betsson announces the agreement with Giorgos Tanoulis for the 2026-27 season.

Giorgos Tanoulis was born on July 27, 2002 and with a height of 2.10m. plays in the center position.

The international ace came to ARIS Betsson last year on loan from Olympiacos, but was unlucky, after in the team's second friendly match, against TFT Skopje, he suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, medial meniscus and medial collateral ligament.

Giorgos Tanoulis signed a contract with ARIS Betsson as a "free agent" and is now in the final stages of his recovery.

The 24-year-old center began his basketball career in the ARIS Betsson youth teams. He then played for PAOK, Promitheas Patras, Olympiacos and Maroussi, before once again becoming a resident of "Nick Galis Hall".

Ο Άρης Betsson επισημοποίησε την συμφωνία του με τον Γιώργο Τανούλη για τη σεζόν 2026-27.

Ο Ολυμπιακός πριν λίγες μέρες ανακοίνωσε το τέλος της συνεργασίας του με τον Γιώργο Τανούλη και σήμερα (21/6) ο Άρης Betsson επισημοποίησε την συμφωνία του με τον Έλληνα ψηλό για την επόμενη σεζόν.

Αναλυτικά η ανακοίνωση:

«Η ΚΑΕ ΑΡΗΣ Betsson ανακοινώνει τη συμφωνία με τον Γιώργο Τανούλη για την αγωνιστική περίοδο 2026-27. 

Ο Γιώργος Τανούλης είναι γεννηθείς στις 27 Ιουλίου του 2002 και με ύψος 2.10μ. αγωνίζεται στη θέση του σέντερ.

Ο διεθνής άσος ήρθε πέρυσι στον ΑΡΗ Betsson με τη μορφή δανεισμού από τον Ολυμπιακό, όμως στάθηκε άτυχος, αφού στον δεύτερο φιλικό αγώνα της ομάδας, με αντίπαλο την TFT Skopje, υπέστη ρήξη προσθίου χιαστού, έσω μηνίσκου και έσω πλαγίου.

Ο Γιώργος Τανούλης υπέγραψε συμβόλαιο με τον ΑΡΗ Betsson ως «ελεύθερος» και πλέον βρίσκεται στο τελικό στάδιο αποθεραπείας του. 

Ο 24χρονος σέντερ ξεκίνησε την μπασκετική σταδιοδρομία του από τα τμήματα υποδομής του ΑΡΗ Betsson. Στη συνέχεια αγωνίστηκε στον ΠΑΟΚ, τον Προμηθέα Πάτρας, τον Ολυμπιακό και το Μαρούσι, πριν ξαναγίνει κάτοικος "Nick Galis Hall".».
