Yanai: “We are much better than Panathinaikos and Valencia, but Valencia will be in the Final Four and Hapoel will not”

Hapoel Tel Aviv owner Ofer Yanai described his team as better than both Panathinaikos AKTOR and Valencia, who will be in the Final Four at Telekom Center Athens.

Ofer Yanai gave an interview to Sports Walla, where he expressed his views on the EuroLeague season, describing Hapoel Tel Aviv as better than Panathinaikos AKTOR, but also Valencia, who will be in the Final Four at Telekom Center Athens.

“I saw Panathinaikos against Valencia. We are much better than both Panathinaikos and Valencia. But Valencia will be in the Final Four and we will not,” was the comment of Hapoel’s owner.

On the issue of getting a contract in the EuroLeague: “Zero chances, in my opinion. Zero chances that they would give us another spot in the EuroLeague if we didn’t make it into the top 6. Friends, we are an Israeli team. Next year, either we will secure a franchise status in the EuroLeague, or maybe Adam Silver will decide to invite Israel to participate in NBA Europe and then we will have a chance there too.”

Ο ιδιοκτήτης της Χάποελ Τελ Αβίβ, Όφερ Γιανάι, χαρακτήρισε την ομάδα του καλύτερη τόσο από τον Παναθηναϊκό AKTOR, όσο και από τη Βαλένθια, η οποία θα βρεθεί στο Final Four του Telekom Center Athens.

Ο Όφερ Γιανάι παραχώρησε συνέντευξη στη Sports Walla, όπου εξέφρασε τις απόψεις του για τη σεζόν στη EuroLeague, χαρακτηρίζοντας τη Χάποελ Τελ Αβίβ καλύτερη από τον Παναθηναϊκό AKTOR, αλλά και τη Βαλένθια, η οποία θα δώσει το παρών στο Final Four του Telekom Center Athens.

“Είδα τον Παναθηναϊκό εναντίον της Βαλένθια. Είμαστε πολύ καλύτεροι και από τον Παναθηναϊκό και από τη Βαλένθια. Αλλά η Βαλένθια θα είναι στο Final Four και εμείς όχι”, ήταν το σχόλιο του ιδιοκτήτη της Χάποελ.

Για το ζήτημα απόκτησης συμβολαίου στη EuroLeague: “Μηδενικές πιθανότητες, κατά τη γνώμη μου. Μηδενικές πιθανότητες να μας έδιναν άλλη μια θέση στην Ευρωλίγκα αν δεν μπαίναμε στην πρώτη 6άδα. Φίλοι, είμαστε μια ισραηλινή ομάδα. Την επόμενη χρονιά, είτε θα εξασφαλίσουμε ένα franchise status στη EuroLeague, είτε ίσως ο Άνταμ Σίλβερ αποφασίσει να προσκαλέσει το Ισραήλ να συμμετάσχει στο NBA Europe και τότε θα έχουμε και εκεί μια ευκαιρία”.
