F1: Antonelli "flew" to pole at Miami GP
Kimi Antonelli withstood the pressure of Max Verstappen and will start first in Miami, with four different manufacturers sharing the top four positions.
Qualifying for the Miami GP, the 4th Formula 1 grand prix of the year, confirmed that Kimi Antonelli is the man of the day on Saturday. The leader of the standings won his third consecutive Pole Position with a time of 1:27.798, showing admirable mental strength after the disappointment of the Sprint Race and the penalty that dropped him to 6th place.

The battle for the top was decided in the details. Max Verstappen was the only one of the leaders who managed to improve his time in the last attempt of Q3, closing in on Antonelli by just 0.166 seconds. Despite the improvement, the Dutchman was limited to second place, which is Red Bull's most competitive performance this season.
Behind the front row, the manufacturers' polyphony promises an explosive race. Charles Leclerc brought Ferrari to third place, while Sprint winner Lando Norris completed the top four with McLaren.
Disappointments and surprises
At Mercedes, the atmosphere is bittersweet. While Antonelli celebrates, George Russell said he was disappointed with fifth place, four tenths behind his teammate. Lewis Hamilton will start sixth with Ferrari, ahead of Oscar Piastri who faced power problems in his McLaren.
The face of the day, Franco Collapito, continued his high-flying efforts, taking Alpine to 8th place, leaving behind Isaac Hajar (Red Bull) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine).
It was a nightmarish day for Gabriel Bortoletto. The Brazilian driver from Audi, after being disqualified from the Sprint due to a technical infringement, saw his team racing against time to prepare the car. He managed to get out on the track at the end of Q1, set the worst time (22nd) and finished the process with his car's brakes catching fire.

Aston Martin's failure was also significant, with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll being disqualified from Q1, confirming that the lack of upgrades in Miami has put them at a disadvantage.
With eyes now fixed on the Miami skies and an 80% chance of rain, strategy and power management under the new FIA guidelines are expected to decide Sunday's winner.

Η μάχη για την κορυφή κρίθηκε στις λεπτομέρειες. Ο Μαξ Φερστάπεν ήταν ο μοναδικός από τους πρωτοπόρους που κατάφερε να βελτιώσει τον χρόνο του στην τελευταία προσπάθεια του Q3, πλησιάζοντας τον Αντονέλι στα μόλις 0,166 δευτερόλεπτα. Παρά τη βελτίωση, ο Ολλανδός περιορίστηκε στη δεύτερη θέση, η οποία όμως αποτελεί την πιο ανταγωνιστική παρουσία της Red Bull στη φετινή σεζόν.
Πίσω από την πρώτη σειρά, η πολυφωνία των κατασκευαστών υπόσχεται έναν εκρηκτικό αγώνα. Ο Σαρλ Λεκλέρ έφερε τη Ferrari στην 3η θέση, ενώ ο νικητής του Σπριντ, Λάντο Νόρις, συμπλήρωσε την πρώτη τετράδα με τη McLaren.
Απογοητεύσεις και εκπλήξεις
Στη Mercedes, το κλίμα είναι γλυκόπικρο. Ενώ ο Αντονέλι πανηγυρίζει, ο Τζορτζ Ράσελ δήλωσε απογοητευμένος από την 5η θέση, μένοντας τέσσερα δέκατα μακριά από τον teammate του. Ο Λιούις Χάμιλτον θα εκκινήσει 6ος με τη Ferrari, μπροστά από τον Όσκαρ Πιάστρι που αντιμετώπισε προβλήματα ισχύος στη δική του McLaren.
Το πρόσωπο των ημερών, ο Φράνκο Κολαπίντο, συνέχισε τις υψηλές πτήσεις φέρνοντας την Alpine στην 8η θέση, αφήνοντας πίσω του τον Ιζάκ Χατζάρ (Red Bull) και τον Πιέρ Γκασλί (Alpine).
Η ημέρα ήταν εφιαλτική για τον Γκάμπριελ Μπορτολέτο. Ο Βραζιλιάνος της Audi, μετά τον αποκλεισμό του από το Σπριντ λόγω τεχνικής παράβασης, είδε την ομάδα του να παλεύει με τον χρόνο για να ετοιμάσει το μονοθέσιο. Κατάφερε να βγει στην πίστα στο τέλος του Q1, σημείωσε τον χειρότερο χρόνο (22ος) και ολοκλήρωσε τη διαδικασία με τα φρένα του μονοθεσίου του να αρπάζουν φωτιά.

Σημαντική ήταν και η αποτυχία της Aston Martin, με τους Φερνάντο Αλόνσο και Λανς Στρολ να αποκλείονται από το Q1, επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι η έλλειψη αναβαθμίσεων στο Μαϊάμι τους έχει φέρει σε μειονεκτική θέση.
Με το βλέμμα πλέον στραμμένο στον ουρανό του Μαϊάμι και την 80% πιθανότητα βροχής, η στρατηγική και η διαχείριση της ισχύος υπό τις νέες οδηγίες της FIA αναμένεται να κρίνουν τον νικητή της Κυριακής.
