McLaren showed off their power in the Miami Sprint, with Lando Norris comfortably leading in the “1-2” ahead of Oscar Piastri. Mercedes were left out of the podium!

Lando Norris dominated the Miami Sprint, leading McLaren to an impressive “1-2”, with Oscar Piastri completing the triumph in second place. The British team showed absolute control of the pace, sending a resounding message for the rest of the season.

Behind them, Charles Leclerc held on to third place, while the battle for the remaining points was intensely interesting. George Russell took advantage of Kimi Antonelli's penalty (for a track violation) to move up to fourth, reducing his gap in the standings to seven points.

At the back of the field, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton put on a fine show, swapping positions in a heated battle for sixth place in the early stages of the race. The Dutchman eventually prevailed, leaving the seven-time world champion further behind.

The top eight in points was completed by Antonelli (despite the penalty), Hamilton and Pierre Gasly. The race had drama before it even started, as Nico Hulkenberg was eliminated after a fire in his Audi car, in an unexpected incident that caused grid chaos.

Overall, the Sprint belonged entirely to McLaren, who with impeccable strategy and pace celebrated one of the most convincing results of the year.

Η McLaren έκανε επίδειξη δύναμης στο Sprint του Μαϊάμι, με τον Λάντο Νόρις να οδηγεί άνετα στο «1-2» μπροστά από τον Όσκαρ Πιάστρι. Εκτός βάθρου έμειναν οι Mercedes!

Ο Λάντο Νόρις κυριάρχησε στο Sprint του Μαϊάμι, οδηγώντας τη McLaren σε ένα εντυπωσιακό «1-2», με τον Όσκαρ Πιάστρι να συμπληρώνει τον θρίαμβο στη δεύτερη θέση. Η βρετανική ομάδα έδειξε απόλυτο έλεγχο του ρυθμού, στέλνοντας ηχηρό μήνυμα για τη συνέχεια της σεζόν.

Πίσω τους, ο Σαρλ Λεκλέρ κράτησε την τρίτη θέση, ενώ η μάχη για τους υπόλοιπους βαθμούς είχε έντονο ενδιαφέρον. Ο Τζορτζ Ράσελ εκμεταλλεύτηκε την ποινή του Κίμι Αντονέλι (για παραβίαση ορίων πίστας) και ανέβηκε τέταρτος, μειώνοντας τη διαφορά του στη βαθμολογία στους επτά βαθμούς.

Στις πιο πίσω θέσεις της οκτάδας, οι Μαξ Φερστάπεν και Λιούις Χάμιλτον χάρισαν ωραίο θέαμα, αλλάζοντας θέσεις σε μια έντονη μονομαχία για την έκτη θέση στα πρώτα στάδια του αγώνα. Τελικά, ο Ολλανδός επικράτησε, αφήνοντας τον επτάκις παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή πιο πίσω.

Την πρώτη οκτάδα των βαθμών συμπλήρωσαν οι Αντονέλι (παρά την ποινή), Χάμιλτον και Πιέρ Γκασλί. Ο αγώνας είχε δράμα πριν καν ξεκινήσει, καθώς ο Νίκο Χούλκενμπεργκ τέθηκε εκτός μετά από φωτιά στο μονοθέσιο της Audi, σε ένα απρόοπτο που προκάλεσε αναστάτωση στο grid.

Συνολικά, το Sprint ανήκε ολοκληρωτικά στη McLaren, που με άψογη στρατηγική και ρυθμό πανηγύρισε ένα από τα πιο πειστικά αποτελέσματα της χρονιάς.
