The home team had the lead for most of the match and after the 25th minute they developed a double-digit difference, which even reached 21 points (78-57), while seven minutes before the end they were still at 20 (84-64).

With a terrible counterattack the guests reduced to a point (95-94) with 46″ remaining, running individual scores of 11-30 in six minutes.

At that point, however, the home team was cool from the line and pulled out the crucial defenses to take the lead in the series.

Leading for Peñaroja's team was Dwayne Washington with 23 points (4/4 two-pointers, 3/5 three-pointers and 6/7 shots).

For the red and whites, Jordan Nuora made a touching effort, finishing the game with 31 points (6/7 two-pointers, 4/7 three-pointers, 7/7 shots).

The next match between the two teams and the first match ball for the black and whites is on Thursday (21/5, 21:00) at the Red Star home.

The winner of the pair will meet the team that will advance from the pair Dubai BC – Buducnost in the finals (Game 1, 21/5, 19:00).

Η Παρτίζαν επικράτησε 100-94 του Ερυθρού Αστέρα σε ένα θρίλερ για τα ημιτελικά της ABA Liga και έκανε το 1-0 στη σειρά. Κορυφαίος των γηπεδούχων ο Ουάσινγκτον, ενώ ο Τζόρνταν Νουόρα πέτυχε 31 πόντους όμως δεν ήταν αρκετοί για τους φιλοξενούμενους.

Η Παρτίζαν επικράτησε 100-94 σε μία αναμέτρηση θρίλερ απέναντι στον Ερυθρό Αστέρα και έκανε το 1-0 στη μεταξύ τους σειρά για τα ημιτελικά της ABA Liga.

Οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν το προβάδισμα στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος της αναμέτρησης και μετά το 25ο λεπτό ανέπτυξαν διψήφια διαφορά, η οποία έφτασε ακόμη και τους 21 πόντους (78-57), ενώ επτά λεπτά πριν τη λήξη ήταν ακόμη στους 20 (84-64).

Με μία τρομερή αντεπίθεση οι φιλοξενούμενοι μείωσαν στον πόντο (95-94) με 46″ να απομένουν τρέχοντας επιμέρους σκορ 11-30 σε έξι λεπτά.

Σε εκείνο το σημείο όμως οι γηπεδούχοι ήταν ψύχραιμοι από τη γραμμή και έβγαλαν τις κρίσιμες άμυνες για να πάρουν το προβάδισμα στη σειρά.

Κορυφαίος για την ομάδα του Πενιαρόγια ήταν ο Ντουέιν Ουάσινγκτον με 23 πόντους (4/4 δίποντα, 3/5 τρίποντα και 6/7 βολές).

Για τους ερυθρόλευκους έκανε συγκινητική προσπάθεια ο Τζόρνταν Νουόρα ολοκληρώνοντας το παιχνίδι με 31 πόντους (6/7 δίποντα, 4/7 τρίποντα, 7/7 βολές).

Η επόμενη αναμέτρηση των δύο ομάδων και το πρώτο match ball για τους ασπρόμαυρους είναι την Πέμπτη (21/5, 21:00) στην έδρα του Ερυθρού Αστέρα.
