Specifically, with 38 matchdays and 20 teams, it will be the top inter-club championship in Europe and the 2026-2027 season, without differing at all from the existing one.

In fact, any change that occurs will be made in two seasons from now and then it will be decided whether the teams will become 22 instead of 20 as they are now.

The only question is which will be the 20 teams that will staff the championship next season, because there is uncertainty, for Monaco due to financial problems, Villeurbanne, because they are on the verge of leaving, but also for Real Madrid and Fenerbahce, as both have not yet signed an extension contract with the organization.

Μάλιστα όποια αλλαγή προκύψει θα γίνει σε δύο σεζόν από τώρα και τότε θα αποφασιστεί αν οι ομάδες θα γίνουν 22 αντί για 20 από ότι είναι τώρα.

Το μόνο ερώτημα είναι ποιες θα είναι οι 20 ομάδες που θα στελεχώσουν το πρωτάθλημα της επόμενης σεζόν, διότι υπάρχει αβεβαιότητα, για τη Μονακό λόγω οικονομικών προβλημάτων, της Βιλερμπάν, διότι είναι προς την έξοδο, αλλά και της Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης και της Φενέρμπαχτσε, καθώς αμφότερες δεν έχουν υπογράψει ακόμα συμβόλαιο επέκτασης με τη διοργάνωση.
