Ο αγώνας

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι ξεκίνησαν καλά με 0-6 στα πρώτα δύο λεπτά και προηγήθηκαν με 7-12 στα μέσα της πρώτης περιόδου. Οι γηπεδούχοι όμως έτρεξαν σε εκείνο το σημείο σερί 13-0 και έφτασαν στο +8 (20-12), με το δεκάλεπτο να κλείνει στο 22-16.

Το Λαύριο μπήκε πολύ δυνατά και στη δεύτερη περίοδο και με επιμέρους 11-3 βρέθηκαν στο +14 (33-19) στο 14ο λεπτό. Η ομάδα των Ιωαννίνων ξεκίνησε αντεπίθεση διαρκείας μέχρι την ανάπαυλα. Με σερί 8-0 μείωσε στους 5 (33-28), με τους γηπεδούχους να απαντούν για το 37-28 με 2’24” για το ημίχρονο.

Ακολούθησε νέο σερί 8-0 το οποίο ολοκληρώθηκε με buzzer-beater τρίποντο του Άντερσον από τη γωνία που έστειλε τη διαφορά στον πόντο (37-36).

Με την επιστροφή από την ανάπαυλα οι φιλοξενούμενοι κατάφεραν να πάρουν το προβάδισμα (43-44) για πρώτη φορά μετά το πρώτο τρίλεπτο. Οι Γιαννιώτες διατήρησαν το προβάδισμά τους μέχρι τη λήξη της τρίτης περιόδου μπαίνοντας στην τέταρτη με προβάδισμα τριών πόντων (55-58).

Μάλιστα το διεύρυναν κι άλλο με την έναρξη του τελευταίου δεκαλέπτου, φτάνοντας στο +9 (57-66) οκτώ λεπτά πριν το φινάλε και στο +11 (60-71) δύο λεπτά αργότερα. Μαστρογιαννόπουλος και Άντερσον βρήκαν τις λύσεις που έψαχναν οι φιλοξενούμενοι στην επίθεση και διατήρησαν το προβάδισμά τους μέχρι την κόρνα της λήξεις, οδηγώντας τη σειρά ξανά στα Ιωάννινα.
