Super League 2: Panionios wins Kalamata and sets the promotion battle on fire, big wins for Hellas Syrou and Aigaleo

Panionios set the promotion battle in the Stoiximan Super League on fire, as it beat Kalamata 1-0 in Paralia and caught it in the standings. Marko equalized Olympiacos B’ in the 96th minute thanks to a goal scored by goalkeeper Theodorakis, while Aigaleo achieved an important victory against Athens Kallithea, as did Hellas Syrou in Chania.

Panionios achieved a great double at Kalamata’s home ground and caught it at 25 points. Pavlos Dermitzakis' team prevailed thanks to the golden goal of Tasos Kritikos in the 53rd minute after an exemplary counterattack by the blue-reds with Focam and Dias who provided the assist to the scorer.

The home team had the opportunities in the first half with Moreira who was unable to score, while after Kritikos' goal they pressed to score, but Panionios fortified themselves very well at the back, while Giannakopoulos intervened where necessary.

However, in the finale, Panionios scored a second goal again from an exemplary counterattack. Yakovlev made a cross - shot that stopped on the post. Subsequently, Kiakos took the rebound, the ball countered and ended up in the net.

It is recalled that the first criterion for a tie is the position the team occupied in the regular period, so Kalamata is superior in the tie. In the other playoff match, Olympiacos B’ and Marko ended in a 1-1 draw. Piraeus opened the scoring with Martinis in the 68th minute and dedicated it to Argyris Liatsikouras.

The home team saved the point in the final with… goalkeeper, Christos Theodorakis who entered the match as a substitute and scored with a header in the 96th minute, after a corner kick by Javier Mendoza.

Hellas Syrou, Ilioupoli and Aigaleo started with victories

Hellas Syrou got an important victory in Crete, as it prevailed 2-1 over Chania thanks to the goal scored by Garoufalias in the 90+3′. With the defeat of Aigaleo by Athens Kallithea, Hellas Syrou climbed to the first place of the playouts.

In the other match, Ilioupoli defeated Panargeiakos 1-0 thanks to the goal of Kretsi in the injury time (90+2′) and came within two points of Athens Kallithea, which is above the relegation zone.

Ο Πανιώνιος έβαλε φωτιά στη μάχη της ανόδου στη Stoiximan Super League, καθώς επικράτησε 1-0 της Καλαμάτας στην Παραλία και την έπιασε στον βαθμολογικό πίνακα. Η Μαρκό ισοφάρισε τον Ολυμπιακό Β’ στο 96′ χάρη στο γκολ που πέτυχε ο γκολκίπερ Θεοδωράκης, ενώ το Αιγάλεω πέτυχε σημαντική νίκη κόντρα στην Athens Kallithea, όπως και η Ελλάς Σύρου στα Χανιά.

Ο Πανιώνιος πέτυχε σπουδαίο διπλό στην έδρα της Καλαμάτας και την έπιασε στους 25 βαθμούς. Η ομάδα του Παύλου Δερμιτζάκη επικράτησε χάρη στο χρυσό γκολ Τάσου Κρητικού στο 53ο λεπτό μετά από υποδειγματική αντεπίθεση των κυανέρυθρων με Φοκάμ και Ντίας που έδωσε την ασίστ στον σκόρερ.

Οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν τις ευκαιρίες στο πρώτο μέρος με τον Μορέιρα που δεν μπόρεσε να σκοράρει, ενώ μετά το γκολ του Κρητικού πίεσαν για να σκοράρουν, αλλά ο Πανιώνιος οχυρώθηκε πολύ καλά στα μετόπισθεν, ενώ ο Γιαννακόπουλος επενέβη όπου χρειάστηκε.

Στο φινάλε όμως ο Πανιώνιος πέτυχε και δεύτερη γκολ ξανά από υποδειγματική αντεπίθεση. Ο Γιάκοβλεφ έκανε μια σέντρα – σουτ που σταμάτησε στο δοκάρι. Ακολούθως ο Κιάκος πήρε το ριμπάουντ, η μπάλα κόντραρε και κατέληξε στα δίχτυα.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι το πρώτο κριτήριο ισοβαθμίας είναι η θέση που κατέλαβε η ομάδα στην κανονική διάρκεια, άρα η Καλαμάτα υπερτερεί στην ισοβαθμία. Στο άλλο ματς των playoffs ο Ολυμπιακός Β’ και η Μαρκό αναδείχθηκαν ισόπαλοι 1-1. Οι Πειραιώτες άνοιξαν το σκορ με τον Μαρτίνη στο 68′ και το αφιέρωσαν στον Αργύρη Λιατσικούρα.

Οι γηπεδούχοι έσωσαν τον βαθμό στο φινάλε με τον… τερματοφύλακα, Χρήστο Θεοδωράκη που πέρασε στο ματς ως αλλαγή και σκόραρε με κεφαλιά στο 96′, μετά από εκτέλεση κόρνερ του Χαβιέρ Μεντόσα.

Με νίκες ξεκίνησαν Ελλάς Σύρου, Ηλιούπολη και Αιγάλεω

Η Ελλάς Σύρου πήρε σημαντική νίκη στην Κρήτη, καθώς επικράτησε 2-1 των Χανίων χάρη στο γκολ που πέτυχε ο Γαρουφαλιάς στο 90+3′. Με την ήττα του Αιγάλεω από την Athens Kallithea η Ελλάς Σύρου ανέβηκε στην πρώτη θέση των playouts.

Στο άλλο ματς η Ηλιούπολη νίκησε 1-0 τον Παναργειακό χάρη στο γκολ του Κρέτσι στις καθυστερήσεις (90+2′) και πλησίασε στους δύο βαθμούς την Athens Kallithea που είναι πάνω από τη ζώνη του υποβιβασμού.
