Athinaikos may have been prepared to begin its attempt at this year's EuroCup Women against the French team Sarnay, however, a technical problem forced the team's people to request a postponement. The game was scheduled to start on Thursday afternoon (9/10) at 19:30.

More specifically, an external problem with the electronic scoreboard. With the problem not being able to be solved immediately, the people of Athinaikos requested a postponement of the match for 24 hours, which they had the right to do.

As the club's president, Nikos Ramatanis, told NOVA's camera, there was a willingness to wait until late at night to play the match, but since there was no guarantee that the problem would be solved, a postponement was requested, which the French team agreed to.

There are still discussions about when the match will finally take place. The possibility of a 24-hour postponement is open, with the game being played on Friday (10/10).

Αναβολή στον αγώνα της πρεμιέρας ανάμεσα στον Αθηναϊκό και τη Σαρνέ για το EuroCup Γυναικών.

Μπορεί ο Αθηναϊκός να είχε ετοιμαστεί ώστε να αρχίσει τη φετινή του προσπάθεια στο EuroCup Γυναικών κόντρα στη γαλλική Σαρνέ, ωστόσο ένα τεχνικό πρόβλημα ανάγκασε τους ανθρώπους της ομάδας να ζητήσουν αναβολή. Το παιχνίδι ήταν προγραμματισμένο να αρχίσει το απόγευμα της Πέμπτης (9/10) στις 19:30.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, ένα εξωτερικό πρόβλημα με τον ηλεκτρονικό πίνακα. Με το πρόβλημα να μην μπορεί να λυθεί άμεσα, οι άνθρωποι του Αθηναϊκού ζήτησαν αναβολή της αναμέτρησης για 24 ώρες, κάτι το οποίο είχαν το δικαίωμα να το κάνουν.

Όπως ανέφερε ο πρόεδρος του συλλόγου, Νίκος Ραμαντάνης, στην κάμερα της NOVA, υπήρχε η θέληση να περιμένουν ακόμα και για αργά το βράδυ ώστε να γίνει ο αγώνας, ωστόσο αφού δεν υπήρξε εγγύηση ότι θα λυθεί το πρόβλημα, ζητήθηκε η αναβολή, κάτι στο οποίο συναίνεσε και η γαλλική ομάδα.

Ακόμα υπάρχουν συζητήσεις για το πότε θα πραγματοποιηθεί τελικά ο αγώνας. Ανοιχτό το ενδεχόμενο να είναι 24ώρη αναβολή, με το παιχνίδι να μπορεί να γίνει την Παρασκευή (10/10).
