Salah: "I'm more outside than inside Liverpool"
Mohamed Salah said he is disappointed that he has not yet received a renewal offer from Liverpool and stressed that his departure from the team is more likely at this point in time.
The Egyptian striker is having an excellent season and it was he who, thanks to his two goals, signed Liverpool's great victory with an upset against Southampton (3-2).
Speaking after the game, however, Salah dropped a... bombshell about his future at Anfield.
"We're almost into December and I haven't had an offer to stay at the club. I'm more outside than inside. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like it. But in the end, it's not in my hands.
As I've said before, it's December and I still haven't received an offer for my future. I love the fans. The fans love me. But it is not in my hands or in the hands of the fans. Let's wait and see" he initially said and added:
"Of course I'm disappointed that I haven't been offered a renewal so far. I'm not going to stop anytime soon so I keep playing, I'm focusing on this season and trying to win the Premier League and the Champions League as well. I'm disappointed, but we'll see."

Ο Μοχάμεντ Σαλάχ δήλωσε απογοητευμένος για το γεγονός πως δεν έχει δεχτεί ακόμα πρόταση ανανέωσης από την Λίβερπουλ και τόνισε ότι την δεδομένη χρονική στιγμή είναι πιο πιθανή η αποχώρησή του από την ομάδα.
Ο Αιγύπτιος επιθετικός κάνει εξαιρετική σεζόν και ήταν αυτός που, χάρη στα δυο γκολ του, υπέγραψε τη μεγάλη νίκη της Λίβερπουλ με ανατροπή κόντρα στην Σαουθάμποτον (3-2).
Μιλώντας μετά το παιχνίδι, όμως, ο Σαλάχ έριξε... βόμβα σχετικά με το μέλλον του στο «Άνφιλντ».
«Έχουμε φτάσει σχεδόν τον Δεκέμβριο και δεν έχω δεχτεί κάποια προσφορά για να μείνω στον σύλλογο. Είμαι περισσότερο εκτός παρά εντός. Ξέρτε ότι είμαι στο σύλλογο εδώ και πολλά χρόνια. Δεν υπάρχει σύλλογος όπως αυτός. Στην τελική όμως, δεν είναι στα δικά μου χέρια.
Όπως έχω πει στο παρελθόν, είναι Δεκέμβριος και δεν έχω δεχτεί ακόμα κάποια πρόταση για το μέλλον μου. Αγαπώ τους οπαδούς. Οι οπαδοί με αγαπούν. Δεν είναι όμως στα δικά μου χέρια ή στα χέρια των οπαδών. Ας περιμένουμε για να δούμε» είπε αρχικά και πρόσθεσε:
«Φυσικά και είμαι απογοητευμένος που δεν μου έχει γίνει μέχρι στιγμής κάποια πρόταση ανανέωσης. Δεν πρόκειται να σταματήσω σύντομα οπότε συνεχίζω να παίζω, επικεντρώνομαι στη φετινή σεζόν και προσπαθώ να κατακτήσω την Premier League και το Champions League επίσης. Είμαι απογοητευμένος, αλλά θα δούμε».
