Leicester: Corberan is a favorite for the "foxes" bench

Following the sacking of Steve Cooper from Leicester, the management have the name of former Olympiakos coach Carlos Corberan at the top of their list.

Steve Cooper was removed from the Leicester bench after the home defeat by Chelsea, paying for the fact that the team is 16th in the table.

The "foxes" are in the process of finding a replacement and, according to the latest reports, the name that has piqued the interest of the English team is that of former Olympiakos coach Carlos Corberan.

The 41-year-old Spaniard took over from West Brom in October 2022 and his contract expires in the summer of 2027. At West Brom, Corberan has six wins, seven draws and three defeats in 16 appearances this season, with his team currently in 6th place in the Championship standings.

Μετά την απομάκρυνση του Στιβ Κούπερ από τη Λέστερ, η διοίκηση έχει στο πάνω μέρος της λίστας της το όνομα του πρώην προπονητή του Ολυμπιακού, Κάρλος Κορμπεράν.

Ο Στιβ Κούπερ απομακρύνθηκε από τον πάγκο της Λέστερ μετά την εντός έδρας ήττα από την Τσέλσι, πληρώνοντας το γεγονός ότι η ομάδα βρίσκεται στη 16η θέση της βαθμολογίας.

Οι "αλεπούδες" βρίσκονται σε διαδικασία εύρεσης αντικαταστάτη και, σύμφωνα με τα τελευταία δημοσιεύματα, το όνομα που έχει κεντρίσει το ενδιαφέρον της αγγλικής ομάδας είναι αυτό του άλλοτε προπονητή του Ολυμπιακού, Κάρλος Κορμπεράν.

Ο 41χρονος Ισπανός ανέλαβε τον Οκτώβριο του 2022 τη Γουέστ Μπρομ και το συμβόλαιό του εκπνέει το καλοκαίρι του 2027. Στη Γουέστ Μπρόμ ο Κορμπεράν μετρά φέτος έξι νίκες, επτά ισοπαλίες και τρεις ήττες σε 16 συμμετοχές, με την ομάδα του να βρίσκεται αυτή τη στιγμή στην 6η θέση της βαθμολογίας στην Championship.
