Bradshaw the winner, Pollak at 4.43m. at Fly Athens

Holly Bradshaw with 4.53m won the women's race at Fly Athens in Kallimarmaro, best Greek Eleni Pollak with 4.43m.

Holly Bradshaw from Great Britain surpassing 4.53m. she was the winner of the women's race at the international pole vault meeting under the brand name Fly Athens, hosted in the area in front of the Panathenaic Stadium.

The meeting, organized by Emmanuel Karalis, for the first time includes a women's race by Neptune Lines and in it Bradshaw took first place.

The 32-year-old vaulter, 3rd in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, passed 4.33m on her first attempt, 4.43m. and 4.53m, standing alone in the race and then failed three times at 4.63m.

On the Greek side, Eleni Pollak had the best performance, she finished 2nd with 4.23m, 3rd with 4.33m. and 4.43m, but he did not succeed at 4.53m.

At 4:43 p.m. Hanga Kleckner (Hungary), Ninon Chappell (France) and Lea Bachmann (Switzerland) also stayed. Ariadni Adamopoulou with 4.33m. took 6th place in the race.

At 19:00 the men's race by Carrefour will take place with the participation of 10 athletes. Apart from Emmanuel Karalis, the participations of Piotr Lisek (Poland), Ben Brenders (Netherlands), Baptiste Thierry (France) and Yiannis Rizos stand out.

The meeting is co-organized by the Municipality of Athens-O.P.A.N.D.A. and the Olympic Sports Club while it is held under the auspices of the World Athletics Federation (World Athletics), the Hellenic Olympic Committee (EOE), the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS), the Ministry of Culture and the Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT).

Η Χόλι Μπράντσοου με 4.53μ., πήρε τη νίκη στον αγώνα των γυναικών στο Fly Athens στο Καλλιμάρμαρο, καλύτερη Ελληνίδα η Ελένη Πόλακ με 4.43μ.

Η Χόλι Μπράντσοου από τη Μεγάλη Βρετανία ξεπερνώντας τα 4.53μ. ήταν η νικήτρια στον αγώνα γυναικών στο διεθνές μίτινγκ επί κοντώ με την επωνυμία Fly Athens, που φιλοξενείται στον χώρο μπροστά από το Παναθηναϊκό Στάδιο.

Το μίτινγκ που διοργανώνει ο Εμμανουήλ Καραλής, για πρώτη φορά περιλαμβάνει αγώνα γυναικών by Neptune Lines και σε αυτόν η Μπράντσοου πήρε την πρώτη θέση.

Η 32χρονη άλτρια, 3η στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες στο Τόκιο, πέρασε με την πρώτη προσπάθεια τα 4.33μ., τα 4.43μ. και τα 4.53μ., μένοντας μόνη στον αγώνα και στη συνέχεια απέτυχε τρεις φορές στα 4.63μ.

Από ελληνικής πλευράς η Ελένη Πόλακ είχε την καλύτερη παρουσία, πέρασε με τη 2η τα 4.23μ., με την 3η τα 4.33μ. και τα 4.43μ., όμως δεν τα κατάφερε στα 4.53μ.

Στα 4.43μ. έμειναν επίσης οι Χάνγκα Κλέκνερ (Ουγγαρία), Νινόν Σαπέλ (Γαλλία) και Λέα Μπάχμαν (Ελβετία). Η Αριάδνη Αδαμόπουλου με 4.33μ. πήρε την 6η θέση στον αγώνα.

Στις 19:00 θα γίνει ο αγώνας των ανδρών by Carrefour με τη συμμετοχή 10 αθλητών. Πέρα από τον Εμμανουήλ Καραλή, ξεχωρίζουν οι συμμετοχές των Πιοτρ Λίσεκ (Πολωνία), Μπεν Μπρέντερς (Ολλανδία), Μπαπτίστ Τιερί (Γαλλία), καθώς και του Γιάννη Ρίζου.

Το μίτινγκ συνδιοργανώνουν ο Δήμος Αθηναίων-Ο.Π.Α.Ν.Δ.Α. και ο σύλλογος Ολυμπιακός ΣΦΠ ενώ διεξάγεται υπό την αιγίδα της Παγκόσμιας ομοσπονδίας στίβου (World Athletics), της Ελληνικής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής (EOE), της ελληνικής ομοσπονδίας στίβου (ΣΕΓΑΣ), του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και του Ελληνικού Οργανισμού Τουρισμού (EOT).
