Ο Παναγιώτης Φιλιππάκος ξεκίνησε τη καριέρα από τον ΑΣΕ Δούκα, τη σεζόν 2011-12. Εχει μεγάλη εμπειρία από τις Εθνικές Κατηγορίες και στη Basket League μεταξύ άλλων έχει παίξει σε Πανιώνιο, Περιστέρι και ΑΕΚ, της οποίας τη φανέλα φορούσε μέχρι πρόσφατα.

Με τον «δικέφαλο» του Νότου τη σεζόν 2021-22, είχε μ.ο. 3.1 πόντους και 2.3 ριμπάουντ ανά 8:50 συμμετοχής σε 22 αγώνες της Basket League».
