Για ένα ημίχρονο, η Αναντολού Εφές ήταν το απόλυτο αφεντικό στο Sinan Erdem Dome. Βρέθηκε μέχρι το +15 απέναντι στην Αρμάνι Μιλάνο κι έδειχνε έτοιμη για επιβλητική νίκη. Ο αγώνας

Η Αναντολού Εφές έδειξε πολύ γρήγορα πως θέλει όσο τίποτε άλλο τη νίκη. Η ένταση που είχε στο παιχνίδι και η συνέπεια στο περιφερειακό σουτ έκαναν τη διαφορά, την ώρα που ο Βασίλιε Μίτσιτς εξέθετε την άμυνα της Αρμάνι Μιλάνο σε διαδοχικές κατοχές. Ένα παιχνίδι που έμοιαζε στα χέρια της Αναντολού Εφές για είκοσι λεπτά, ήρθε τούμπα μέσα σε μια περίοδο. Πλέον, ήταν η Αρμάνι Μιλάνο αυτή που έπαιζε με ένταση και έπαιρνε πράγματα από την περιφέρεια, ειδικά από τον Σέρχιο Ροντρίγκεθ. Ουδείς μπόρεσε να βάλει ένα μεγάλο τρίποντο που θα δώσει την απαιτούμενη ώθηση, ειδικά από την στιγμή που η Αρμάνι Μιλάνο κατέβαζε την ταχύτητα και οδηγούσε το φινάλε σε μεγάλες κατοχές.
