«Η ΚΑΕ Απόλλων 1926 Οscar ανακοινώνει την έναρξη της συνεργασίας με τον Αμερικανό γκαρντ Gerel Simmons (1992, 1,88 μ.).

Ο Simmons έως το περασμένο Σάββατο αγωνιζόταν στο πρωτάθλημα της Α2 Εθνικής Ισπανίας με την Αλικάντε, με την οποία σε 21 παιχνίδια είχε μ.ο. 15,3 πόντους, 2,7 ριμπάουντ και 2,9 ασίστ σε σχεδόν 26 λεπτά συμμετοχή. Είχε συνολικά 77/142 δίποντα με 54,25%, 39/100 τρίποντα με 39% και 51/61 βολές με 83,6%.

Τη σεζόν 2020-2021 με τους Artland Dragons's αναδείχτηκε πρώτος σκόρερ στην Α2 Εθνική Γερμανίας έχοντας σε 32 παιχνίδια 19,6 πόντους μ.ο. με 3,5 ριμπάουντ και 3,9 ασίστ μένοντας στο παρκέ σχεδόν 30 λεπτά κάθε αγωνιστική.
