Ο Πάτρικ Μουράτογλου, που βρίσκεται στο προπονητικό τιμ του Στέφανου Τσιτσιπά και είναι στο box του Ελληνα τενίστα σε όλα τα ματς που δίνει στο US Open, ύψωσε ασπίδα προστασίας στον 23χρονο και μάλιστα αποκάλυψε ότι ο συμπατριώτης μας δεν παίρνει καν το κινητό μαζί του.

Το αφήνει στο ξενοδοχείο, όπως ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά, ενώ ξεκαθάρισε ότι σε καμία περίπτωση ο Στέφανος δεν παίρνει toilet breaks για να σπάσει το ρυθμό του αντιπάλου του.

Ειδικά μάλιστα στο ματς με τον Αντι Μάρεϊ, αυτός που είχε το μομέντουμ πριν το πέμπτο σετ, όταν υπήρξε η διακοπή για το toilet break, ήταν ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς και όχι ο Σκωτσέζος τενίστας.

Συγκεκριμένα, ανέφερε: «Είναι αλήθεια. Ο Στέφανος παίρνει toilet breaks και αργεί να επιστρέψει στο κορτ. Όμως, δεν το κάνει για να σπάσει τον ρυθμό του αντιπάλου του. Στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση (σ.σ στον αγώνα με τον Αντι Μάρεϊ) θα ήταν χαζό να πάρει toilet break γι’ αυτόν τον λόγο. Λίγα δευτερόλεπτα πριν είχε κερδίσει το τέταρτο σετ. Αυτός ήταν που είχε το μομέντουμ και όχι ο Μάρεϊ. Οπότε 100% δεν το έκανε γι ‘αυτό.

Εχω ακούσει πολλά για τον λόγο που πηγαίνει στα αποδυτήρια ο Στέφανος. Κάποια από αυτά είναι πολύ χαζά. Οπως ότι στέλνει μηνύματα στον πατέρα του. Δεν είχε καν το τηλέφωνο μαζί του. Το είχε αφήσει στο ξενοδοχείο. Οπότε αυτό που λένε δεν ισχύει σε καμία περίπτωση. Επίσης, δεν μπορώ να φανταστώ κάποιον σαν τον Στέφανο να κάνει κάτι τέτοιο. Δεν μπορώ να ακούω ότι κλέβει. Δεν μπορώ να ανεχτώ ότι ακούγονται τέτοια πράγματα για τον Στέφανο», ανέφερε μεταξύ άλλων ο Μουράτογλου.
