Aris took on character after the European exclusion, leaving Panthessalikos with three points! With Apostolos Terzis on the bench and Akis Mantzio on the stands of the stadium, the team of Thessaloniki defeated (0-1) Volos and made it 2/2 in this year's Greek championship.

Ο Άρης έβγαλε χαρακτήρα μετά τον ευρωπαϊκό αποκλεισμό, φεύγοντας με τους τρεις βαθμούς από το Πανθεσσαλικό! Με τον Απόστολο Τερζή στον πάγκο και τον Άκη Μάντζιο στις εξέδρες του γηπέδου, η ομάδα της Θεσσαλονίκης νίκησε (0-1) τον Βόλο και έκανε το 2/2 στο φετινό ελληνικό πρωτάθλημα.
Οι «κίτρινοι» ξεκίνησαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο την μετά Μίκαελ Ένινγκ εποχή, παίρνοντας ένα πολύ σημαντικό τρίποντο στην έδρα του Βόλου. Ουσιαστικά, ο Άρης έφτασε εύκολα στην επικράτηση, καθώς δεν απειλήθηκε ιδιαίτερα από τους γηπεδούχους.
Τη νίκη στην ομάδα της Θεσσαλονίκης τη χάρισε ο πολύ καλός Μπρούνο Γκάμα. Ο Πορτογάλος παίκτης, με πολύ όμορφη ενέργεια, κέρδισε πέναλτι στο 15ο λεπτό, ευστοχώντας από την άσπρη βούλα. Ηταν το μοναδικό τέρμα της αναμέτρησης, με τους φιλοξενούμενους να πανηγυρίζουν το «διπλό».
Το ματς
Οι δυο ομάδες μπήκαν δυνατά στο τερέν του Πανθεσσαλικού και στα πρώτα λεπτά ξεχώριζαν οι δυνατές μονομαχίες και στα σκληρά μαρκαρίσματα.
Στο 11΄, ο Άρης είχε την πρώτη του τελική με τον Γκανέα και πέντε λεπτά μετά μπήκε μπροστά στο σκορ. Ο Μπρούνο Γκάμα πήρε τη μπάλα, ταλαιπώρησε τους αμυντικούς του Βόλου, με τον Μπαριέντος να τον ανατρέπει εντός περιοχής. Ο Πορτογάλος μεσοεπιθετικός ανέλαβε την εκτέλεση, ευστοχώντας από τα 11 βήματα για το 1-0 των «κίτρινων».
Στη συνέχεια, ο Βόλος είχε μια ανούσια κατοχή της μπάλας, με τους γηπεδούχους να μη μπορούν ουσιαστικά να διασπάσουν την αμυντική γραμμή του Άρη. Το σουτ του Κολόμπο βρήκε στα σώματα στο 24ο λεπτό. Το σκορ δεν άλλαξε μέχρι και το τελευταίο σφύριγμα του Βάτσιου, με τον Άρη να πανηγυρίζει ένα σημαντικό «διπλό».
Το 10άρι: Ξεκάθαρα ο Μπρούνο Γκάμα. Ο Πορτογάλος παίκτης ήταν ο MVP, χαρίζοντας το τρίποντο στον Άρη. Κέρδισε το πέναλτι και νίκησε από την άσπρη βούλα τον γκολκίπερ του Βόλου.
Το κλειδί: Ο τρόπος που διαχειρίστηκε το γκολ ο Άρης. Οι «κίτρινοι» πήραν νωρίς το προβάδισμα και φρόντισαν στη συνέχεια να μην απειληθούν ιδιαίτερα από τους γηπεδούχους.
Στον πάγκο: Ολόκληρη η ομάδα του Βόλου. Είχε μπροστά της 75΄ για να ισοφαρίσει και το μόνο που έκανε ήταν σέντρες.
