Leicester players and fans honored Vichai's memory

Some coincidences are really shocking… On Friday night Leicester prevailed Southampton 9-0, achieving the biggest away win in Premier League history.


By coincidence, the record was reached two days before one year had passed since the death of Leicester owner Vihai Srivandanampa. The 60-year-old Thai was killed on October 27, 2008, during his helicopter take off from the English team's stadium.
A year later, Leicester's footballers seemed to want to honor his memory in their own way and achieved an unbelievable victory. For their part, the fans paid their own tribute to the Thai businessman, with slogans and other events.

Μερικές συμπτώσεις είναι πραγματικά σοκαριστικές… Το βράδυ της Παρασκευής η Λέστερ επικράτησε 9-0 της Σάουθαμπντον, πετυχαίνοντας τη μεγαλύτερη εκτός έδρας νίκη στην ιστορία της Premier League.

Κατά σύμπτωση, το ρεκόρ επιτεύχθηκε δύο μέρες πριν τη συμπλήρωση ενός έτους από τον θάνατο του ιδιοκτήτη της Λέστερ, Βιχάι Σριβανταναπράμπα. Ο 60χρονος Ταϊλανδός σκοτώθηκε στις 27 Οκτωβρίου του 2008, κατά τη διάρκεια της απογείωσης του ελικοπτέρου του από το γήπεδο της αγγλικής ομάδας.
Ένα χρόνο μετά, οι ποδοσφαιριστές της Λέστερ σαν να θέλησαν να τιμήσουν τη μνήμη του με το δικό τους τρόπο και πέτυχαν μία εξωπραγματική νίκη. Από την πλευρά τους, οι οπαδοί απέδωσαν το δικό τους φόρο τιμής στον Ταϊλανδό επιχειρηματία, με συνθήματα και με άλλες εκδηλώσεις.‎
