Olympiacos ONEX defeated Panionios 3-1 in the 10th round of the Volley League.

The Olympiacos ONEX Men's volleyball team returned to the championship victoriously, after qualifying for the round of 16 of the CEV Cup. The "red and white" team defeated Panionios 3-1 in the indoor arena of Rentis "M. Merkouri", in the match of the 10th round of the Volley League, with Fromm MVP, with 18 points, with 18/31 attacks (21 Perin, 18 Atanasijević).

Olympiacos ONEX led 7-5, with an attack by Fromm, but then found themselves behind 16-15. The "red and white" reacted and escaped with +2 (19-17, 20-18, 22-20), with points from Kavanagh, Atanasiewicz and Fromm, but they tied five times (22-22, 23-23, 24-24, 25-25, 26-26) and found themselves behind 27-26. Perin tied at 27-27, Djuric at 28-28, with a block, with Pitakoudis raising a "wall" at the net, for another set of bowls (29-28) for the home team. With a pipe from Perin, Olympiacos ONEX reached another set of bowls (30-29) and with four balls from the guests, it made it 1-0, with 31-29.

In the second set, the "red and white" led 8-5, with an attack from Fromm, with the German winger "hitting" again, increasing the difference to +5 (15-10). With an ace from Perin, Olympiacos "climbed" to +7 (17-10), completely dominating the set, which they won with 25-16, with an attack from Perin.

Olympiacos ONEX did not "enter" well in the third set and found themselves behind with 9-6, 14-10 and 16-12. However, despite reducing to 19-18 (Perin), 20-19 (Pitakoudis) and 23-22 (Perin), the “red and white” team lost the set (2-1) with 25-22.

The home team started strongly in the fourth set and escaped with 8-4, with an ace by Perin. The team from Nea Smyrni reduced to 10-9 and tied at 13-13, but Olympiacos ONEX escaped again (16-14, 17-15), with points from Perin and Fromm. With a new attack by Perin, the “red and white” team took the lead with +3 (20-17), with Panionios reducing to a point (20-19, 21-20). Antonis Vourderis' team never looked back... and with an ace from Dalakouras, they reached 25-21 and the victory with 3-1 sets.

Ο Ολυμπιακός ΟΝΕΧ νίκησε με 3-1 σετ τον Πανιώνιο, για την 10η αγωνιστική της Volley League.

Νικηφόρα επέστρεψε στο πρωτάθλημα, μετά την πρόκριση στη φάση των «16» του CEV Cup, η ομάδα βόλεϊ Ανδρών του Ολυμπιακού ΟΝΕΧ. Οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» επικράτησαν με 3-1 σετ (31-29, 25-16, 22-25, 25-21) τον Πανιώνιο στο κλειστό του Ρέντη «Μ. Μερκούρη», για το ματς της 10ης αγωνιστικής της Volley League, με MVP τον Φρομ, με 18 πόντους, με 18/31 επιθέσεις (21 ο Πέριν, 18 ο Ατανασίεβιτς).

Ο Ολυμπιακός ΟΝΕΧ προηγήθηκε με 7-5, με επίθεση του Φρομ, αλλά στη συνέχεια, βρέθηκε πίσω με 16-15. Οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» αντέδρασαν και ξέφυγαν με +2 (19-17, 20-18, 22-20), με πόντους των Καβάνα, Ατανασίεβιτς και Φρομ, όμως ισοφαρίστηκαν πέντε φορές (22-22, 23-23, 24-24, 25-25, 26-26) και βρέθηκαν πίσω με 27-26. Ο Πέριν ισοφάρισε σε 27-27, ο Τζούριτς σε 28-28, με μπλοκ, με τον Πιτακούδη να σηκώνει «τείχος» στο φιλέ, για ένα ακόμα σετ μπολ (29-28) των γηπεδούχων. Με πάιπ του Πέριν, ο Ολυμπιακός ΟΝΕΧ έφτασε σε άλλο ένα σετ μπολ (30-29) και με τέσσερις μπάλες των φιλοξενούμενων, έκανε το 1-0, με 31-29.

Στο δεύτερο σετ, οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» προηγήθηκαν με 8-5, με επίθεση του Φρομ, με τον Γερμανό ακραίο να «χτυπάει» ξανά, ανεβάζοντας τη διαφορά στο +5 (15-10). Με άσο του Πέριν, ο Ολυμπιακός «ανέβηκε» στο +7 (17-10), κυριαρχώντας απόλυτα στο σετ, το οποίο κατέκτησε με 25-16, με επίθεση του Πέριν.

Ο Ολυμπιακός ΟΝΕΧ δεν «μπήκε» καλά στο τρίτο σετ και βρέθηκε πίσω με 9-6, 14-10 και 16-12. Ωστόσο, παρότι μείωσαν σε 19-18 (Πέριν), 20-19 (Πιτακούδης) και 23-22 (Πέριν), οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» απώλεσαν το σετ (2-1) με 25-22.

Δυνατά ξεκίνησαν στο τέταρτο σετ οι γηπεδούχοι και ξέφυγε με 8-4, με άσο του Πέριν. Η ομάδα της Νέας Σμύρνης μείωσε σε 10-9 και ισοφάρισε σε 13-13, αλλά ο Ολυμπιακός ΟΝΕΧ ξέφυγε ξανά (16-14, 17-15), με πόντους των Πέριν και Φρομ. Με νέα επίθεση του Πέριν, οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» προηγήθηκαν με+3 (20-17), με τον Πανιώνιο να μειώνει στον πόντο (20-19, 21-20). Η ομάδα του Αντώνη Βουρδέρη δεν κοίταξε ξανά… πίσω και με άσο του Δαλακούρα, έφτασε στο 25-21 και στη νίκη με 3-1 σετ.
