Ο Παναθηναϊκός γνώρισε δεύτερη συνεχόμενη ήττα στο ξεκίνημα του 2026, δεύτερη συνεχόμεν ήττα στο σπίτι του και δεύτερη φετινή ήττα από την Αρμάνι (74-87) με κακή εμφάνιση, ιδίως στο β’ μέρος.

Οι πράσινοι ξέφυγαν άλλες δύο φορές με διαφορά της τάξης των 10 πόντων, όμως σε αμφότερες τις περιπτώσεις οι φιλοξενούμενοι κατάφεραν να πλησιάσουν για να διαμορφωθεί το 43-38 στο φινάλε του πρώτου μέρους. Στο οποίο Χολμς από τη μία και Μπρουκς από την άλλη είχαν πετύχει από 12 πόντους.

Η Αρμάνι μπήκε στο β΄ μέρος με σερί 7-0 και προσπέρασε στο σκορ (43-45, 21’50’). Ο Όσμαν της έβαλε φρένο με τρίποντο, ενώ λίγο αργότερα ο Αταμάν έριξε για πρώτη φορά στο ματς τον Γιούρτσεβεν. Εκείνος βρήκε κάποιες καλές συνεργασίες με τον Σλούκα σε ρόλο δημιουργού για να προκύψει το 58-55 στο 28′.

Ωστόσο, οι φιλοξενούμενοι βρήκαν νέο σερί 11-0 για το 58-66 στο 31’15”. Ο Σλούκας απάντησε με 5 δικούς του πόντους για το 63-66.
