The home team fought until the end and tried to reduce the difference, but Real managed to maintain the lead and leave France with the victory.

Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης κατάφερε να πάρει το διπλό στη Γαλλία απέναντι στη Βιλερμπάν, κερδίζοντας το παιχνίδι με ένα εξαιρετικό τελευταίο πεντάλεπτο για την 20η αγωνιστική της EuroLeague.

Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης επέστρεψε από δύσκολη θέση και πανηγύρισε τη νίκη (69-80) στην έδρα της Βιλερμπάν, χάρη σε ένα εξαιρετικό τελευταίο πεντάλεπτο κλείνοντας το παιχνίδι στο +11.

Η γαλλική ομάδα ήταν ανταγωνιστική για τρία δεκάλεπτα, προηγούμενη ακόμη στο ημίχρονο με +5, στηριζόμενη στις καλές εμφανίσεις των Ερτέλ, Γουάτσον και Μάσα.

Στο πρώτο δεκάλεπτο οι δύο ομάδες ήταν κοντά (18-17 για τη Βιλερμπάν), ενώ στο δεύτερο οι γηπεδούχοι ανέβασαν τη διαφορά στο +5 χάρη σε συνολική καλή απόδοση.

Ο σέντερ των Μαδριλένων κυριάρχησε στις δύο ρακέτες και αποτέλεσε καθοριστικό παράγοντα για την ανατροπή και τη νίκη μαζεύοντας 9 ριμπάουντ. 

Οι γηπεδούχοι πάλεψαν μέχρι το τέλος και προσπάθησαν να μειώσουν τη διαφορά, αλλά η Ρεάλ κατάφερε να διατηρήσει το προβάδισμα και να φύγει με τη νίκη από τη Γαλλία.

Οι Μαδριλένοι ανέβηκαν στο 12-9, ενώ η Βιλερμπάν παραμένει στο 6-14.
