Postponement of the match between Olympiacos and Flisvos

The match between Olympiacos and Flisvos for the third round of the Volley League has been postponed.

The reason is that the rematch of the "red and white" with Las Palmas has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 12 (19:00) in the Canary Islands and the previous match should have been scheduled according to the announcement for Saturday, but it was scheduled for Sunday and will therefore be postponed.

What the announcement states:

"In the event of TAA's participation in a European competition match, outside of Greece, the next match will be held until the 4th day after the European match (including the day the match is held), regardless of the day of return to Greece, i.e.: European match Tuesday, next Championship match until Saturday, European match Wednesday, next Championship match until Sunday."

In fact, if a team competing outside Greece, in this case Olympiacos, requests the postponement of the match, the request is judged by the Championship Committee and the consent of the other club, in this case Flisvos Palaio Faliro, is not required.

*** Αναβολή στο ματς του Ολυμπιακού με τον Φλοίσβο

Aναβέλεται ο αγώνας του Ολυμπιακού με τον Φλοίσβο για τη τρίτη αγωνιστική της Volley League.

Ο λόγος είναι ότι έχει οριστεί η ρεβάνς των «ερυθρολεύκων» με την Λας Πάλμας την Τετάρτη 12 Νοεμβρίου (19:00) στα Κανάρια Νησιά και το προηγούμενο ματς θα έπρεπε να οριστεί σύμφωνα με την προκήρυξη Σάββατο, όμως είχε οριστεί για την Κυριακή και έτσι θα αναβληθεί.

Τι αναφέρει η προκήρυξη: 

«Σε περίπτωση συμμετοχής ΤΑΑ σε αγώνα Ευρωπαϊκής διοργάνωσης, εκτός Ελλάδος, ο επόμενος αγώνας θα διεξάγεται έως την 4η ημέρα μετά την διεξαγωγή του Ευρωπαϊκού αγώνα (συμπεριλαμβανομένης και της ημέρας διεξαγωγής του αγώνα), ανεξάρτητα από την ημέρα επιστροφής στην Ελλάδα, δηλ.: Ευρωπαϊκός αγώνας Τρίτη, επόμενος αγώνας Πρωταθλήματος έως Σάββατο, Ευρωπαϊκός αγώνας Τετάρτη, επόμενος αγώνας Πρωταθλήματος έως Κυριακή». 

Μάλιστα, εφόσον μια ομάδα που αγωνίζεται εκτός Ελλάδας, στην προκειμένη περίπτωση ο Ολυμπιακός, αιτηθεί την αναβολή του αγώνα το αίτημα κρίνεται από την Επιτροπή Πρωταθλήματος και δεν χρειάζεται η σύμφωνη γνώμη του άλλου σωματείου, στην προκειμένη περίπτωση του Φλοίσβου Παλαιού Φαλήρου.
