Karditsa recorded its 3rd victory in the Greek championship, beating Peristeri with 88-74 for the 7th round of the Stoiximan GBL.

Papanikolopoulos' players dominated in the first half, going to the locker room with a double-digit difference. Vasilis Xanthopoulos' team improved and put a lot of pressure on their opponents, but Thessalians responded immediately, taking the victory with a double-digit difference.

Horchler and Kasselakis were the protagonists for the home team, scoring 18 and 14 points, respectively, while M. Jefferson (11), N. Jefferson (10), Madsen (12) and Ellis (11) finished the match in double figures. On the other hand, Nichols, Van - Tubergen and Cardenas stood out, scoring 17, 14 and 13 points, respectively

Karditsa entered the match well, with Brandon Jefferson providing solutions on offense, giving a 7-point lead at the start of the first quarter. Midway through the period, Peristeri came close to 4, with Nichols and Cardenas making it 14-10. Then, Vasilis Xanthopoulos' players stuck to the offensive, with the home team taking advantage of it and controlling the match until the end of the period, increasing the difference to +15 (29-14).

Peristeri Betsson continued to chase the score in the second period, with the Thessalians dominating on both sides of the court, holding a double-digit lead (37-23). ​​Xanthopoulos' team reduced the difference to single digits (36-34), a minute before the break, but Horchler with two well-aimed consecutive baskets and Ellis with two shots sent Karditsa to the locker room with a difference of 14 points (48-34).

Peristeri reduced the score to 6 at the beginning of the second half, recording an 8-0 run, with Nichols and Cardenas making it 48-42, forcing Papanikolopoulos to call a time-out. The pace of the match was quite fast, with Peristeri exerting a lot of pressure on the opponent, however, Karditsa responded to the attack, managing to maintain the lead until the end of the period (63-55).

The Peristeri team continued to press in the fourth quarter, but the Thessalians responded to every solution of the guests, with Horchler and Kasselakis starring, giving Stoiximan GBL its third victory in Karditsa.

Η Καρδίτσα κυριάρχησε κόντρα στο Περιστέρι Betsson, με τους Κασελάκης και Χόρχλερ να πρωταγωνιστούν, παίρνοντας τη νίκη με 88-74 για την 7η αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL.

Η Καρδίτσα κατέγραψε την 3η της νίκη στο ελληνικό πρωτάθλημα, κερδίζοντας το Περιστερί με 88-74 για την 7η αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL.

Οι παίκτες του Παπανικολόπουλου κυριάρχησαν στο πρώτο μέρος, πηγαίνοντας στα αποδυτήρια με διψήφια διαφορά. Η ομάδα του Βασίλη Ξανθόπουλου βελτιώθηκε και πίεσε αρκετά τους αντιπάλους, όμως οι Θεσσαλείς ανταποκρίθηκαν άμεσα, παίρντας τη νίκη με διψήφια διαφορά.

Οι Χόρχλερ και Κασελάκης ήταν οι πρωταγωνιστές από την πλευρά των γηπεδούχων, σκοράροντας 18 και 14 πόντους, αντίστοιχα, ενώ οι Μ. Τζέφρεσον (11), Ν. Ο αγώνας:

Η Καρδίτσα μπήκε καλά στο ματς, με τον ΜπράντονΤζέφρεσον να δίνει λύσεις στην επίθεση, δίνοντας προβάδισμα 7 πόντων, στο ξεκίνημα του πρώτο δεκαλέπτου. Στα μέσα της περιόδου το Περιστέρι πλησίασε στους 4, με τους Νίκολς και Καρντένας να διαμορφώνουν το 14-10. Στη συνέχεια, οι παίκτες του Βασίλη Ξανθόπουλου κόλλησαν επιθετικά, με τους γηπεδούχους να το εκμεταλλεύονται και ελέγχουν το ματς, μέχρι το τέλος της περιόδου, ανεβάζοντας τη διαφορά στο +15 (29-14).

Συνέχιζε να κυνηγάει στο σκορ το Περιστέρι Betsson, στη δεύτερη περίοδο, με τους Θεσσαλείς να κυριαρχούν και στις δύο πλευρές του παρκέ, κρατώντας διψήφιο προβάδισμα (37-23). Η ομάδα του Ξανθόπουλου έκανε μονοψήφια τη διαφορά (36-34), ένα λεπτό πριν την ανάπαυλα, όμως ο Χόρχλερ με δύο εύστωχα συνεχόμενα καλάθια και ο Έλις με δύο βολές έστειλαν στα αποδυτήρια την Καρδίτσα με διαφορά 14 πόντων (48-34).

Στους 6 μείωσε το Περιστέρι, στην αρχή του δεύτερου μέρους, καταγράφοντας ένα σερί 8-0, με τους Νίκολς και Καρντένας να κάνουν το 48-42, αναγκάζοντας τον Παπανικολόπουλο να καλεί time-out. Ο ρυθμός του ματς ήταν αρκετά γρήγορος, με το Περιστέρι να ασκεί αρκετή πίεση στον αντίπαλο, όμως, η Καρδίτσα ανταποκρίθηκε στην επίθεση, καταφέρνοντας να καρατήσει το προβάδισμα, μέχρι τη λήξη της περιόδου (63-55).

Οι Περιστεριώτες συνέχισαν να πιέζουν και στο τέταρτο δεκάλεπτο, όμως οι Θεσσαλείς έδωσαν απάντηση σε κάθε λύση των φιλοξενούμων, με τους Χόρχλερ και Κασελάκης να πρωταγωνιστούν, δίνοντας την τρίτη νίκη της στην Stoiximan GBL στην Καρδίτσα.
