Panathinaikos AKTOR entered OAKA for the 34th and final matchday of the EuroLeague, knowing that it has qualified for the playoffs as third, regardless of the result. The former had 6 points, 4 assists and the latter 8 points, while the final blow was achieved by Jerian Grant with a three-pointer, writing the final 111-104 (96-96, etc.).
The Greens are now preparing for their battles with Anadolu Efes in the EuroLeague playoffs. Luca Banki's team achieved its 8th consecutive victory to take 6th place and will thus face the greens with home field advantage.
Kendrick Nunn entered the match knowing that he needed 11 points to secure the Alphonso Ford Trophy for the 2024-25 season and become the first player of the cloverleaf to reach this duration. The game

By the 9th minute the score was 23-23, with Miller-McIntyre making 4/4 three-pointers. Nedovic was the one who made it 23-26 in the 10th minute after a missed attempt by Miller-McIntyre and an offensive rebound.
With three three-pointers from Huancho and one from Yurceven, the Greens found themselves at +5 (37-32) in the 15th minute. The visitors ran a 17-10 run until the break and thus went to the locker room with a one-point lead (47-49, 20′).
With 10 points in the first half, Nan entered the Glass Floor with one goal in mind after halftime. He scored the Greens’ first basket in the third period, made history and then was undone. By the 25th minute (62-64), he had reached 19 points.
On the other side, Nedovic was equally eager and made it 68-73 in the 27th minute. With a dunk by Yurtseven and a basket by Osman in the surprise, the score became 72-73.
The two teams entered the final period tied (77-77, 30′), while a few seconds earlier Miller-McIndrier had left the field injured and on a stretcher, having scored 26 points.
The two teams went hand in hand in scoring (86-85, 35′). Giedraitis, Kalinic and Petrusev gave Sfairopoulos' team an 8-point lead (86-94) in the 37th minute, forcing Ataman to take a time-out. With a three-pointer by Nan, a won challenge by Panathinaikos for possession and another three-pointer by Juancho, the clover approached within a basket (92-94) with 1’29” on the clock.
Sloukas was fouled in a bid for a rebound and tied the score at 94-94 with two shots (38’55”). Kalinic made it 94-96, Juancho answered - with a shot that initially appeared to be a three-pointer, but in the end it was a two-pointer, making it 96-96.
The game eventually went to overtime, after Miller-McIntyre's three-point attempt, which he made at 5'46" before the end of the 4th period, missed the target.

Οι πράσινοι ετοιμάζονται πλέον για τις μάχες του με την Αναντολού Εφές στα playoffs της EuroLeague. Η ομάδα του Λούκα Μπάνκι πέτυχε την 8η συνεχόμενη νίκη της για να πάρει την 6η θέση κι έτσι θα αντιμετωπίσει τους πράσινους με μειονέκτημα έδρας.
Ο Κέντρικ Ναν μπήκε στο ματς γνωρίζοντας ότι χρειάζεται 11 πόντους για να εξασφαλίσει το Alphonso Ford Trophy για τη σεζόν 2024-25 και να γίνει ο πρώτος παίκτης του τριφυλλιού που φτάνει σε αυτή τη διάρκιση. Στην αρχή έδειχνε λίγο αγχωμένος, αλλά έκλεισε το πρώτο μέρος με 10 πόντους, για να πετύχει το “χρυσό” καλάθι στο ξεκίνημα της τρίτης περιόδου και να απελευθερωθεί πλήρως. Κάπως έτσι, έφτασε στους 31 πόντους και τις 10 ασίστ στο τέλος του σαρανταλέπτου.
Τα στατιστικά που ξεχώρισαν
Ο Ερυθρός Αστέρας είχε 6/7 τρίποντα στην πρώτη περίοδο, με τον Κόντι Μίλερ-ΜακΙντάιρ είναι υπεύθυνος για τα τέσσερα εξ αυτών. Ο Αμερικανός γκαρντ είχε φτάσει στους 19 πόντους στο φινάλε του πρώτου μέρους.
Ο αγώνας
Ο Παναθηναϊκός παρατάχθηκε με Γκραντ, Ναν, Όσμαν, Μήτογλου και Γκέιμπριελ κι έβαλε τέσσερα γκολ-φάουλ μέχρι το 6′ για να προηγηθεί με 18-11. Μέχρι το 9′ το σκορ έγινε 23-23, με τον Μίλερ-ΜακΙντάιρ να έχει 4/4 τρίποντα. Ο Νέντοβιτς ήταν εκείνος που έγραψε το 23-26 στο 10′ έπειτα από άστοχη προσπάθεια του Μίλερ-ΜακΙντάιρ και επιθετικό ριμπάουντ.
Με τρία τρίποντα από τον Χουάντσο κι ένα από τον Γιούρτσεβεν οι πράσινοι βρέθηκαν στο +5 (37-32) στο 15′. Οι φιλοξενούμενοι έτρεξαν ένα επιμέρους 17-10 μέχρι την ανάπαυλα κι έτσι πήγαν στα αποδυτήρια έχοντας προβάδισμα ενός καλαθιού (47-49, 20′).
Έχοντας 10 πόντους στο πρώτο μέρος, ο Ναν μπήκε στο Glass Floor με ένα στόχο στο μυαλό του μετά το ημίχρονο. Έβαλε το πρώτο καλάθι των πρασίνων στην τρίτη περίοδο, έγραψε ιστορία και μετά λύθηκε. Μέχρι το 25′ (62-64) είχε φτάσει στους 19 πόντους.
Στην αντίπερα όχθη ο Νέντοβιτς ήταν εξίσου ορεξάτος και διαμόρφωσε το 68-73 στο 27′. Με ένα κάρφωμα του Γιούρτσεβεν κι ένα καλάθι του Όσμαν στον αιφνιδιασμό το σκορ έγινε 72-73.
Οι δύο ομάδες μπήκαν ισόπαλες (77-77, 30′) στην τελευταία περίοδο, ενώ μερικά δευτερόλεπτα νωρίτερα ο Μίλερ-ΜακΙντράιρ είχε αποχωρήσει τραυματίας και υποβασταζόμενος από τον αγωνιστικό χώρο, έχοντας βάλει 26 πόντους.
Οι δύο ομάδες πήγαν χέρι-χέρι στο σκοράρισμα (86-85, 35′). Γκιεντράιτις, Κάλινιτς και Πετρούσεβ έδωσαν προβάδισμα 8 πόντων στην ομάδα του Σφαιρόπουλου (86-94) στο 37′, αναγκάζοντας τον Αταμάν να πάρει time-out. Με ένα τρίποντο του Ναν, ένα κερδισμένο challenge του Παναθηναϊκού για την κατοχή κι ένα ακόμα τρίποντο του Χουάντσο, το τριφύλλι πλησίασε σε απόσταση καλαθιού (92-94) με 1’29” στο χρονόμετρο.
Ο Σλούκας πήρε φάουλ σε διεκδίκηση για ριμπάουντ και ισοφάρισε με 94-94 με δύο βολές (38’55”). Ο Κάλινιτς έγραψε το 94-96, ο Χουάντσο απάντησε -σε σουτ που αρχικά φάνηκε τρίποντο, αλλά τελικά ήταν δίποντο κι έτσι προέκυψε το 96-96.
Το ματς πήγε τελικά στην παράταση, αφού το τρίποντο που επιχείρησε ο Μίλερ-ΜακΙντάιρ, ο οποίος επέστεψε στα 5’46” πριν το τέλος της 4ης περιόδου, δεν βρήκε στόχο.
