Elite League: Iraklis “swept” Proteas and qualified for the Final Four

Iraklis won the home game of Proteas Voulas 87-82 and secured its qualification for the Final Four of the Elite League.

Iraklis prevailed away from home against Proteas Voulas 87-82, making it 4-0 in the quarterfinal series of the Elite League and qualifying for the Final Four of the competition.

The blue-and-whites stepped on the… gas after the second quarter and took control of the match. In the last period, Proteas counterattacked, wanting to re-enter the game. The Voula team came within one shot (82-85), 19″ before the end, however, it was unable to make the turnaround and stay alive.

The top scorer of the game was Nikos Paparegas, who finished the game with 17 points (3/6 three-pointers), while also grabbing 4 rebounds. Tsiakmas followed with 12 points and 6 assists.

The Thessaloniki team awaits the winner of the series Korivos Amaliadas – Psychiko in the Final Four.

Ο Ηρακλής επικράτησε εκτός έδρας του Πρωτέα Βούλας με 87-82, έκανε το 4-0 στην προημιτελική σειρά της Elite League και προκρίθηκε στο Final Four της διοργάνωσης.

Οι κυανόλευκοι πάτησαν το… γκάζι μετά το δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο και πήραν τον έλεγχο του αγώνα. Στην τελευταία περίοδο, ο Πρωτέας έκανε αντεπίθεση, θέλοντας να ξαναμπεί στην διεκδίκηση του παιχνιδιού. Η ομάδα της Βούλας πλησίασε σε απόσταση ενός σουτ (82-85), 19″ πριν το τέλος, ωστόσο δεν μπόρεσε να κάνει την ανατροπή και να μείνει ζωντανός.

Πρώτος σκόρερ του αγώνα ήταν ο Νίκος Παπαρέγκας, ο οποίος τελείωσε το ματς με 17 πόντους (3/6 τρίποντα), κατεβάζοντας παράλληλα και 4 ριμπάουντ. Ακολούθησε ο Τσιακμάς με 12 πόντους και 6 ασίστ.
