US Open: Jabeur is out for the 4th round
Ons Jabeur, defeating Shelby Rogers with 2-1 sets, became the first player to secure her presence in the 4th round of the US Open.
Ons Jabeur may have dropped her first set at the US Open, but the Tunisian defeated Shelby Rogers 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 to secure first place in the fourth round of the women's singles.
The 28-year-old Jabeur continues her course in the tournament and for the first time in her career she passes to the round of 16, where she awaits the winner of the match between the Russian, Liudmila Samsonova and the Hungarian, Dama Galfi.

Rogers (No.31) with a break in the 2nd game took a 2-0 lead in the opening set and even though Jabeur trailed 3-2, she didn't lose her mind. He responded with a break (3-3), took the lead again with 4-3 and 5-3 and with a new break, won the set with 6-4.
With both players holding their serve until the 8th game, Jabeur got the decisive break for 5-4 and made it 6-4 with a love game.
In the 3rd set, Jabeur dominated, with two breaks in a row she led 4-0, she went to 5-1, Rogers went to enter the match, with a break she reduced to 5-3, but on her own serve, Jabeur answered with a love game, ending the set 6-3 and the match.

Η Ονς Ζαμπέρ νικώντας την Σέλμπι Ρότζερς με 2-1 σετ έγινε η πρώτη παίκτρια που εξασφάλισε την παρουσία της στον 4ο γύρο του US Open.
Η Ονς Ζαμπέρ μπορεί να έχασε το πρώτο της σετ στο US Open, όμως η Τυνήσια νίκησε τη Σέλμπι Ρότζερς με 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 και εξασφάλισε πρώτη την πρόκριση στον 4ο γύρο του απλού γυναικών.
Η 28χρονη Ζαμπέρ συνεχίζει την πορεία της στο τουρνουά και για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα της περνά στη φάση των «16», όπου περιμένει τη νικήτρια του αγώνα ανάμεσα στη Ρωσίδα, Λιουντμίλα Σαμσόνοβα και την Ουγγαρέζα, Ντάμα Γκάλφι.

Η Ρότζερς (Νο.31) με break στο 2ο γκέιμ προηγήθηκε με 2-0 στο εναρκτήριο σετ και παρότι η Ζαμπέρ προσπέρασε με 3-2, δεν έχασε τη σκέψη της. Απάντησε με break (3-3), πήρε ξανά κεφάλι στο σκορ με 4-3 και 5-3 και με νέο break, πήρε το σετ με 6-4.
Με τις δύο παίκτριες να διατηρούν το σερβίς τους μέχρι το 8ο γκέιμ, η Ζαμπέρ πέτυχε το καθοριστικό break για το 5-4 και με love game έκανε το 6-4.
Στο 3ο σετ η Ζαμπέρ κυριάρχησε, με δύο σερί break προηγήθηκε 4-0, πήγε στο 5-1, η Ρότζερς πήγε να μπει στον αγώνα, με break μείωσε σε 5-3, όμως στο δικό της σερβίς η Ζαμπέρ απάντησε με love game, τελειώνοντας το σετ 6-3 και τον αγώνα.
