Μόνο με σταυρωμένα τα χέρια δεν έμεινε η Γιουνάιτεντ στην αποκάλυψη των «Times» ότι ο Κριστιάνο Ρονάλντο θέλει να αποχωρήσει από το «Όλντ Τράφορντ».
Κατ' αρχήν όπως ήταν λογικό και αναμενόμενο το δημοσίευμα προκάλεσε χαμό στο Νησί. Στα social media στήθηκε... πανηγύρι, ενώ χύθηκε και αρκετό μελάνι... Ωστόσο η Μάντσεστερ δεν έμεινε άπραγη. Μετά την αποκάλυψη «βόμβα» πως ο Κριστιάνο επιθυμεί να φύγει και να πάει σε ομάδα Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ, οι «κόκκινοι διάβολοι» απάντησαν άμεσα.
