PAOK: Announced Foster until 2028

PAOK officially made Marcus Foster its own, with the former Panathinaikos and Promitheas player preparing for his third stint in Greece.

Marcus Foster is officially a PAOK player, with the Two-Headed of the North announcing the acquisition of the American scorer for the next two years.

This was the first official announcement of the acquisition of a foreign player for PAOK, while many more are expected for ANDREA Trinchieri's team.

PAOK's AFC announces the agreement with American guard Marcus Foster, who will play for our team for the next two years. PAOK adds to its roster the 2025 Eurocup champion, a very high-quality player, a genuine scorer with leadership qualities.

Foster is well-known to the Greek public, as he has already played for Panathinaikos and Promithea, and even more so to PAOK fans, from our team's matches against Rytas Vilnius in the BCL Play-Inn in the 2022-23 season. Foster, who emerged as the top scorer in the BCL that season, had a decisive role in the Lithuanian team's qualification.

Marcus Foster was born on June 3, 1995 in Texas, is 1m91 tall and plays as a guard. He played for two seasons at Kansas State University, then continued at Creighton, from which he graduated in 2018 with 19.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

He began his professional career in Korea (25.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 51 games with Wonju DB Promy), he also played at the end of the same season (2018-19) in Lebanon and then played in…

Israel (Hapoel Holon in the 2019-20 season: 19.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists in 20 league games, as well as 17.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 14 games in the BCL. He returned to Israel in the 2024-25 season and with Hapoel Tel Aviv he won the Eurocup, having 13.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 24 games. Greece (Panathinaikos in the 2020-21 season: 5.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists in 10 league games and in 10 playoff games in the 2021-22 season with Promithea Patras with 12.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2 assists),

Turkey (Turk Telekom in the 2020-21 season: 9.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2 assists in 9 league games, while in 6 games in the BCL he had 8.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists),

GLeague (Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the 2021-22 season: 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists in 47 games),

Lithuania (Rytas Vilnius in the 2022-23 season: 16.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists in 27 league games, while in the BCL he had 20.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 15 games. He returned for the 2023-24 season and in 15 league games he had 15.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists, while he was named MVP of the league finals, where he won the title against Andrea Trinchieri's Zalgiris Kaunas. Ο ΠΑΟΚ έκανε και επίσημα δικό του τον Μάρκους Φόστερ, με τον άλλοτε παίκτη του Παναθηναϊκού και του Προμηθέα να ετοιμάζεται για την τρίτη του θητεία στην Ελλάδα.

Ο Μάρκους Φόστερ είναι και επίσημα παίκτης του ΠΑΟΚ, με τον Δικέφαλο του Βορρά να ανακοινώνει την απόκτηση του Αμερικανού σκόρερ για τα επόμενα δύο χρόνια.

Αυτή ήταν και η πρώτη επίσημη ανακοίνωση απόκτησης ξένου παίκτη για τον ΠΑΟΚ, ενώ αναμένονται πολλές ακόμη για την ομάδα του ΑΝτρέα Τρινκιέρι.

Η ΚΑΕ ΠΑΟΚ ανακοινώνει τη συμφωνία με τον Αμερικανό γκαρντ Marcus Foster, ο οποίος θα αγωνίζεται στην ομάδα μας για τα δύο επόμενα χρόνια. Ο ΠΑΟΚ προσθέτει στο ρόστερ του τον πρωταθλητή του Eurocup το 2025, έναν πολύ ποιοτικό παίκτη, έναν αυθεντικό σκόρερ με ηγετικά χαρακτηριστικά. 

Ο Foster είναι πολύ γνωστός στο ελληνικό κοινό, καθώς έχει ήδη αγωνιστεί σε Παναθηναϊκό και Προμηθέα και ακόμη περισσότερο στους φιλάθλους του ΠΑΟΚ, από τις αναμετρήσεις της ομάδας μας με την Rytas Vilnius στα Play-Inn του BCL τη σεζόν 2022-23. Ο Foster που αναδείχθηκε πρώτος σκόρερ του BCL εκείνη τη σεζόν, είχε καθοριστική συμμετοχή στην πρόκριση της Λιθουανικής ομάδας.
