The NBA compared RJ Barrett's shot to that of Kawhi Leonard in 2019.

RJ Barrett kept the Toronto Raptors alive in the series with the Cleveland Cavaliers with an incredible shot, as the three-pointer he attempted bounced off the rim, gained great height and ended up in the basket, 1.2″ before the end.

On the occasion of this phase, the NBA turned back time to 2019, when Kawhi Leonard had scored a buzzer-beater with adventure on the same court and played the two phases in parallel to highlight the similarity.

Το NBA συνέκρινε το σουτ του Αρ Τζέι Μπάρετ με εκείνο του Καουάι Λέοναρντ το 2019.

Ο Αρ Τζέι Μπάρετ με ένα απίθανο σουτ κράτησε ζωντανούς τους Τορόντο Ράπτορς στη σειρά με τους Κλίβελαντ Καβαλίερς, καθώς το τρίποντο που επιχείρησε αναπήδησε στη στεφάνη, πήρε μεγάλο ύψος και κατέληξε στο καλάθι, 1.2″ πριν το φινάλε.

Με αφορμή αυτή τη φάση, το NBA γύρισε τον χρόνο πίσω στο 2019, όταν ο Καουάι Λέοναρντ είχε σκοράρει ένα buzzer-beater με περιπέτεια στο ίδιο γήπεδο και έπαιξε τις δύο φάσεις παράλληλα για να αναδείξει την ομοιότητα.
