Ο Παναθηναϊκός έχασε και το δεύτερο παιχνίδι του με την Βαλένθια στο ΟΑΚΑ αυτή την φορά με 86-89 και θα πάει την Τρίτη στην Ισπανία για να πάρει την πρόκριση στο Final Four. Στην διαιτησία στάθηκε και ο Εργκίν Αταμάν με τον Τούρκο προπονητή μιλώντας στην συνέντευξη Τύπου να δηλώνει τα εξής: «Σίγουρα θα έχετε ερωτήσεις και θα απαντήσω. Αλλά θέλω να αρχίσω με άλλα. Χθες, ο προπονητής τους έκανε δηλώσεις και είπε ότι στο τρίτο ματς όλα αυτά που έκανε μετά τις τεχνικές ποινές είναι επειδή πήρα δύο τεχνικές ποινές και άλλαξα το ματς, γιατί μετά από αυτό οι διαιτητές μας βοήθησαν να κερδίσουμε το ματς.

Τώρα, αν μιλήσω για τους διαιτητές σίγουρα, όπως όλη την σεζόν... Νομίζω έχω πληρώσει 35.000 ευρώ σε πρόστιμα, θα πληρώσω πρόστιμο. Τι πρόστιμο έδωσαν για αυτή την δήλωση ότι κερδίσαμε τα δύο πρώτα ματς επειδή οι διαιτητές μας βοήθησαν μετά τις τεχνικές ποινές; Τι σημαίνει; Ότι οι διαιτητές μας βοήθησαν να κερδίσουμε τα ματς. Κάποιο πρόστιμο; Όχι.

Δεν θα μιλήσω για άλλα πράγματα. Όλοι είδαν το ματς απόψε. Θέλω να πάω σπίτι και να δω το ματς. Ξέρω τα τακτικά λάθη που κάναμε, αλλά θέλω να το ξαναδώ. Στο ημίχρονο είπα ότι για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα μου, σε 25 χρόνια, πρώτη φορά είδα τέτοια περίεργα πράγματα.

Είναι 2-2, κερδίσαμε δύο ματς εκεί με την βοήθεια των διαιτητών, κέρδισαν δύο ματς εδώ, οι διαιτητές ήταν πολύ καλοί. Τεχνική ποινή στον πάγκο μου επειδή είναι κάποιος όρθιος. Σε όλο το ματς λέω ότι μας έδωσες τεχνική ποινή, αλλά στον πάγκο της Βαλένθια 2-3 προπονητές είναι όρθιοι. Τίποτα. Κέρδισαν δίκαια. Θα πάμε εκεί για το πέμπτο ματς. Προτείνω σε όλους να δουν το ματς, να δουν τις κατοχές».
