The Raptors “bent” the Cavaliers and tied the series at 2-2

The Toronto Raptors won the “thriller” of Game 4 with 93-89 over the Cavaliers, tied the series at 2-2 and stayed alive.

At the beginning of the game, the Raptors took a +5 lead (8-3), but then the Cavs overtook and controlled the pace, closing the period ahead with 14-17, a particularly low score for the NBA. In the second period, the guests escaped to +9 (21-30), with Toronto returning, and closing the half with a lead (38-36).

In the second 24 minutes, the pattern of reversals continued, as the Raptors led 41-40, the Cavaliers made a run and escaped with 48-56, but Rajakovic's team was again ahead at the end with 60-58. In the fourth period, the game was exactly at the same tempo. The home team took a five-point lead (74-69), but the Cavaliers turned it around and left with 77-84. The Raptors ultimately took the victory with 93-89. Brandon Ingram (23pts. 6rp.), Scottie Barnes (23pts. 9rp. 6as.) and RJ Barrett (18pts. 8rp.) were the best for Toronto. The Cavs had a great day with James Harden (19pts. 8ast.) and Donovan Mitchell (20pts. 6r. 3ast.).

Οι Τορόντο Ράπτορς πήραν την νίκη στο «θρίλερ» του Game4 με 93-89 επί των Καβαλίερς, ισοφάρισαν την σειρά σε 2-2 και έμειναν ζωντανοί.

Στο ξεκίνημα του παιχνιδιού οι Ράπτορς πήραν αέρα +5 (8-3), όμως στην συνέχεια οι Καβς προσπέρασαν και ήλεγξαν τον ρυθμό, κλείνοντας την περίοδο μπροστά με 14-17, σε ένα ιδιαίτερα χαμηλό για ΝΒΑ σκορ. Στην δεύτερη περίοδο οι φιλοξενούμενοι ξέφυγαν στο +9 (21-30), με το Τορόντο να επιστρέφει, και να κλείνει το ημίχρονο με προβάδισμα (38-36). 

Στο δεύτερο 24λεπτο, το μοτίβο των ανατροπών συνεχίστηκε, αφού οι Ράπτορς προηγήθηκαν με 41-40, οι Καβαλίερς έκαναν σερί και ξέφυγαν με 48-56, όμως η ομάδα του Ραγιάκοβιτς ήταν ξανά μπροστά στο τέλος με 60-58. Στην τέταρτη περίοδο το παιχνίδι ήταν ακριβώς στο ίδιο τέμπο. Οι γηπεδούχοι πήραν απόσταση πέντε πόντων (74-69), όμως οι Καβαλίερς το γύρισαν και έφυγαν με 77-84. Οι Ράπτορς πήραν εν τέλει τη νίκη με 93-89.

Οι Μπράντον Ίνγκραμ (23π. 6ρ.), Σκότι Μπαρνς (23π. 9ρ. 6ασ.) και Αρ Τζέι Μπάρετ (18π. 8ρ.) ήταν οι καλύτεροι για το Τορόντο. Οι Καβς είχαν σε μεγάλη μέρα τους Τζέιμς Χάρντεν (19π. 8ασ.) και Ντόνοβαν Μίτσελ (20π. 6ρ. 3ασ.).
