AEK had a very mediocre night in Nea Filadelfia against AEL, they missed a penalty with Luka Jovic in the 56th minute, but thanks to Arold Mukundi's goal just in the 5th minute, they managed to get the long-awaited "three points" with 1-0.

The "Allwyn Arena" was packed, with 30 thousand fans of the "yellow and black" and about 500 of the "crimson", who gave their own pulse in a very "warm" atmosphere. Toupta attempted the first -long- shot in the 2nd minute, which was blocked in the corner by Strakosha, while Jovic scored AEK's first final goal a minute later.

Just in the 5th minute Mukundi "unlocked" the match! The Union won two corners, which were cleared, Marin filled in from the left and despite Anagnostopoulos's "stop" on Varga's header, Mukundi pushed the ball for 1-0!

The suspended Marko Nikolic watched from the press box the efforts of his players, who immediately looked for the second goal with Koita's shots in the 12th and 14th minutes. In the 19th minute, Atanasov wanted to surprise Strakosha from 30 meters, who barely cleared it for a corner, as in the 24th minute the execution of the "Maroon" midfielder from the corner. Time was running out and the next important moment came in the 40th minute, when Anagnostopoulos had difficulty blocking Jovic's place kick from close range.

The half ended with a penalty awarded by Mr. Polychronis for a tripping of Eliasson by the AEL goalkeeper, but the VAR, Mr. Evangelou, called the referee for an "on field review" and changed the decision, "yellow carding" the Swede for "theatrical behaviour".

Returning from the locker room, Marin shot high in the 48th minute and in the 50th minute Batumbinsika almost scored an own goal after Varga's header, with the attacking Hungarian catching another one only for Anagnostopoulos to block in the 53rd minute. In the next minute, Batumbinsika tripped Koitas and referee Polychronis awarded another penalty. Jovic took responsibility, but Anagnostopoulos guessed correctly and kept the score at 1-0, with the Serb missing for the second time this year!

Savvas Pantelidis' team remained "alive" and looked for its moments, refreshing the lineup from the bench. In the 60th minute, Jovic headed the ball without worrying, in the 72nd minute, Sagal caught a shot from a favorable position inside the area, but the ball went wide of the goal, while in the 73rd minute, Varga missed with his head from close range, after Penrice's cross. In the 79th minute, the Union requested another penalty for a handball by Mourgos on the edge of the area, with the referee considering it unintentional without any further thought.

Final 1-0 at the "Allwyn Arena", with AEK staying first and waiting for the Olympiacos - PAOK derby, two "turns" before the Stoiximan Super League playoffs.

Η ΑΕΚ βρέθηκε σε μετριότατη βραδιά στη Νέα Φιλαδέλφεια απέναντι στην ΑΕΛ, έχασε πέναλτι με τον Λούκα Γιόβιτς στο 56', αλλά χάρη στο γκολ του Αρόλντ Μουκουντί μόλις στο 5', κατάφερε να πάρει το πολυπόθητο «τρίποντο» με 1-0.

Η «Allwyn Arena» γέμισε ασφυκτικά, με 30 χιλιάδες φίλους των «κιτρινόμαυρων» και περίπου 500 των «βυσσινί», οι οποίοι έδωσαν τον δικό τους παλμό σε μια πολύ «ζεστή» ατμόσφαιρα. Ο Τούπτα επιχείρησε το πρώτο -μακρινό- σουτ στο 2', το οποίο μπλόκαρε στη γωνία ο Στρακόσα, ενώ ο Γιόβιτς σημείωσε την πρώτη τελική της ΑΕΚ ένα λεπτό αργότερα.

Μόλις στο 5' ο Μουκουντί «ξεκλείδωσε» το ματς! Η Ένωση κέρδισε δυο κόρνερ, τα οποία απομακρύνθηκαν, ο Μαρίν γέμισε από τ' αριστερά και παρά το «στοπ» του Αναγνωστόπουλου στην κεφαλιά του Βάργκα, ο Μουκουντί έσπρωξε την μπάλα για το 1-0!

Ο τιμωρημένος Μάρκο Νίκολιτς έβλεπε από τα δημοσιογραφικά θεωρεία τις προσπάθειες των ποδοσφαιριστών του, οι οποίοι έψαξαν άμεσα το δεύτερο γκολ με τα σουτ του Κοϊτά στο 12' και 14'. Στο 19' ο Ατανάσοφ θέλησε να αιφνιδιάσει από τα 30 μέτρα τον Στρακόσα, ο οποίος έδιωξε με δυσκολία σε κόρνερ, όπως στο 24' την εκτέλεση του μέσου των «βυσσινί» από τη γωνία. Ο χρόνος κυλούσε και η επόμενη σημαντική στιγμή ήλθε στο 40', όταν ο Αναγνωστόπουλος απέκρουσε δύσκολα με τα πόδια του πλασέ του Γιόβιτς από κοντά.

Το ημίχρονο έκλεισε με ένα πέναλτι που υπέδειξε ο κ. Πολυχρόνης για ανατροπή του Ελίασον από τον τερματοφύλακα της ΑΕΛ, όμως ο VAR κ. Ευαγγέλου κάλεσε τον διαιτητή για «on field review» και άλλαξε την απόφαση, «κιτρινίζοντας» τον Σουηδό για «θέατρο». 

Επιστρέφοντας από τα αποδυτήρια, ο Μαρίν σούταρε ψηλά στο 48' και στο 50' ο Μπατουμπινσικά λίγο έλειψε να σημειώσει αυτογκόλ μετά την κεφαλιά του Βάργκα, με τον επιθετικό Ούγγρο να πιάνει ακόμα μία για να μπλοκάρει ο Αναγνωστόπουλος στο 53'. Στο επόμενο λεπτό, ο Μπατουμπινσικά ανέτρεψε τον Κοϊτά και ο διαιτητής Πολυχρόνης υπέδειξε εκ νέου πέναλτι. Ο Γιόβιτς ανέλαβε την ευθύνη, όμως ο Αναγνωστόπουλος μάντεψε σωστά και διατήρησε το 1-0, με τον Σέρβο να αστοχεί για δεύτερη φορά φέτος!

Η ομάδα του Σάββα Παντελίδη έμεινε «ζωντανή» και έψαξε τις στιγμές της, φρεσκάροντας την ενδεκάδα από τον πάγκο. Στο 60' ο Γιόβιτς πήρε την κεφαλιά δίχως να ανησυχήσει, στο 72' ο Σαγάλ έπιασε ένα σουτ από ευνοϊκή θέση μέσα από την περιοχή, όμως η μπάλα πέρασε μακριά από την εστία, ενώ στο 73' ο Βάργκα αστόχησε με το κεφάλι από κοντά, έπειτα από τη σέντρα του Πενράις. Στο 79' η Ένωση ζήτησε νέο πέναλτι για χέρι του Μούργου στα όρια της περιοχής, με τον διαιτητή να το θεωρεί ακούσιο δίχως άλλη σκέψη. 

Τελικό 1-0 στην «Allwyn Arena», με την ΑΕΚ να μένει πρώτη και να περιμένει το ντέρμπι Ολυμπιακός - ΠΑΟΚ, δυο «στροφές» πριν από τα playoffs της Stoiximan Super League.
