Olympiacos made it 20/20 at the Stoiximan GBL on Sunday afternoon (15/3), defeating Panionios 79-71 at the Glyfada indoor stadium for the 21st matchday of the championship.

With Thomas Walkap and Sasha Vezenkov returning and being five-a-side, Piraeus (10-0 home and 10-0 away) did a difficult job in a match that was marred by Evan Fournier's incident with a home fan.

Vezenkov (24 points, 6/11 two-pointers, 1/3 three-pointers, 9/9 shots, 8 rebounds) was the top scorer of the match, Larentzakis helped a lot in the fourth period and made the shot for 68-72 in 38′, with the red and whites facing Fenerbahce (17/3) and Baskonia (19/3) against the backdrop of the EuroLeague top four.

Panionios fell to 5-14 (3-6 home and 2-8 away), which continues to fight to stay in the first division of Greek basketball. Joe Thomason and Giorgos Tsalbouris were the two who troubled Olympiacos the most.
