No matter how hard APOEL tried, they were unable to break the Gordian knot of the match, with Krasava holding on tooth and nail to a 0-0 draw, taking an important point in their battle to stay in the division.

APOEL ended the game with 10 men when Laifis was shown a straight red card in the 90+2 minute.

For Omonia Aradippou, Georgiou became the hero of the moment in the 37th minute, with the 21-year-old scoring the only goal of the match for the final 1-0.

Με το φτωχό και άνοστο 0-0 ο ΑΠΟΕΛ έμεινε στην ισοπαλία απέναντι στην Κράσαβα, ενώ η Ομόνοια Αραδίππου με 1-0 λύγισε την Ανόρθωση και την προσπέρασε στην βαθμολογία.

Στραβοπάτησε και πέταξε την ευκαιρία να σκαρφαλώσει στη βαθμολογία ο ΑΠΟΕΛ.

Η Κράσαβα τον κράτησε στο «0» μέσα στην έδρα του και πήρε τον χρυσό βαθμό της ισοπαλίας για την 14η αγωνιστική του πρωταθλήματος Κύπρου, ενώ η Ομόνοια Αραδίππου καθάρισε την Ανόρθωση με 1-0 και την προσπέρασε στην βαθμολογία, με τις δύο ομάδες να έχουν από 14 βαθμούς, όμως στην ισοβαθμία υπερτερεί η Ομόνοια.

Ο ΑΠΟΕΛ όσο και αν προσπάθησε δεν κατάφερε να λύσει τον γόρδιο δεσμό της αναμέτρησης, με την Κράσαβα να κρατάει το 0-0 με νύχια και με δόντια, βάζοντας έναν σημαντικό βαθμό στο σακούλι, για τη μάχη που δίνει με σκοπό να παραμείνει στην κατηγορία.

Με 10 ολοκλήρωσε το παιχνίδι ο ΑΠΟΕΛ όταν στο 90+2' ο Λαΐφης αντίκρισε απευθείας κόκκινη κάρτα.

Για την Ομόνοια Αραδίππου ήρωας της στιγμής έγινε ο Γεωργίου στο 37ο λεπτό, με τον 21χρονο να πετυχαίνει το μοναδικό γκολ της αναμέτρησης για το τελικό 1-0.
