Kifissia - Olympiacos 0-3

Olympiacos beat “Zirinio” 3-0 and celebrated its second consecutive victory in the Volley League championship, in the context of the 6th matchday.

Despite the clear 3-0, the game was competitive, with Kifissia giving the Piraeus team a hard time in the first two sets.

The home team appeared particularly combative at the start of the match and managed to stay close to the score, however Olympiacos showed quality at crucial points and took both sets 23-25. In the third set, the “red and white” significantly increased their performance, fully imposed their rhythm and reached 14-25 with characteristic ease, “locking” the final 0-3.

For the second consecutive time, Aleksandar Atanasjevic emerged as the top scorer of the match, scoring 20 points.

The match

In the first set, Olympiacos entered with a small lead (4-6, 9-11), but Kifisia - led by Boris, who recorded three blocks and important attacks - made the turnaround and found itself at +3 (17-14) with Spyriounis. Atanasjevic took action there, who with two series of aces and counterattacks turned the rhythm around (18-20), before Perin followed with decisive solutions and Linardos finished the third set with a bowl for 23-25.

In the second set, the hosts had another good start, took advantage of Olympiacos' mistakes and took the lead (10-7). Piraeus reacted and went ahead 12-14, but Kifissia responded with a 4-0 run of its own. Then Olympiacos, again starring Atanasjevic, regained the upper hand (19-21). As in the first set, the "red and white" reached a triple bowl set, the home team erased both, but Atanasjevic sealed the 0-2 with 23-25.

The third set was not at all reminiscent of the previous ones. Olympiacos entered with energy, pressed strongly from the service line and quickly escaped the score, reaching 21-9. Kifissia tried to reduce the difference by scoring some points, but the scales had now finally tipped. The "red and white" kept control until the end and with 25-14 they sealed a clear victory with 3-0 sets.

Ο Ολυμπιακός πέρασε από το «Ζηρίνειο» με 3-0 σετ και πανηγύρισε τη δεύτερη διαδοχική νίκη του στο πρωτάθλημα της Volley League, στο πλαίσιο της 6ης αγωνιστικής.

Παρά το καθαρό 3-0, το παιχνίδι είχε ανταγωνισμό, με την Κηφισιά να βάζει δύσκολα στους Πειραιώτες στα πρώτα δύο σετ.

Οι γηπεδούχοι παρουσιάστηκαν ιδιαίτερα μαχητικοί στην εκκίνηση της αναμέτρησης και κατάφεραν να μείνουν κοντά στο σκορ, ωστόσο ο Ολυμπιακός έβγαλε ποιότητα στα κρίσιμα σημεία και πήρε και τα δύο σετ με 23-25. Στο τρίτο σετ οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» ανέβασαν αισθητά την απόδοσή τους, επέβαλαν πλήρως τον ρυθμό τους και έφτασαν με χαρακτηριστική άνεση στο 14-25, «κλειδώνοντας» το τελικό 0-3.

Για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη φορά κορυφαίος της αναμέτρησης αναδείχθηκε ο Αλεξάνταρ Ατανασίεβιτς, ο οποίος σημείωσε 20 πόντους.

Το ματς

Στο πρώτο σετ ο Ολυμπιακός μπήκε με μικρό προβάδισμα (4-6, 9-11), όμως η Κηφισιά -με πρωταγωνιστή τον Μπόρις που κατέγραψε τρία μπλοκ και σημαντικές επιθέσεις- έκανε την ανατροπή και βρέθηκε στο +3 (17-14) με τον Σπυριούνη. Εκεί ανέλαβε δράση ο Ατανασίεβιτς, ο οποίος με δύο σερί άσους και κόντρα επιθέσεις γύρισε τον ρυθμό (18-20), πριν ακολουθήσει ο Πέριν με καθοριστικές λύσεις και ο Λινάρδος να τελειώνει το τρίτο σετ μπολ για το 23-25.

Στο δεύτερο σετ οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν ξανά καλή εκκίνηση, εκμεταλλεύτηκαν τα λάθη του Ολυμπιακού και πήραν προβάδισμα (10-7). Οι Πειραιώτες αντέδρασαν και πέρασαν μπροστά με 12-14, όμως η Κηφισιά απάντησε με δικό της σερί 4-0. Στη συνέχεια ο Ολυμπιακός, με πρωταγωνιστή ξανά τον Ατανασίεβιτς, ανέκτησε το πάνω χέρι (19-21). Όπως και στο πρώτο σετ, οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» έφτασαν σε τριπλό σετ μπολ οι γηπεδούχοι έσβησαν τα δύο, αλλά ο Ατανασίεβιτς σφράγισε το 0-2 με 23-25.

Το τρίτο σετ δεν θύμιζε καθόλου τα προηγούμενα. Ο Ολυμπιακός μπήκε με ενέργεια, πίεσε έντονα από τη γραμμή του σερβίς και ξέφυγε πολύ γρήγορα στο σκορ, φτάνοντας ως το 21-9. Η Κηφισιά προσπάθησε να μειώσει τη διαφορά σημειώνοντας ορισμένους πόντους, όμως η πλάστιγγα είχε πλέον γείρει οριστικά. Οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» κράτησαν τον έλεγχο μέχρι το τέλος και με 25-14 σφράγισαν μια καθαρή νίκη με 3-0 σετ.
