Sporting: Ioannidis and Vayannidis on the bench against Kairat

Fotis Ioannidis and Giorgos Vayannidis will not start in Sporting's match against Kairat, with Rui Borges leaving them on the bench for the 1st matchday of the League Phase of the Champions League.

Rui Borges announced Sporting's starting lineup for the match against Kairat on Thursday night (18/9) for the 1st matchday of the League Phase of the Champions League, with Fotis Ioannidis and Giorgos Vayannidis on the bench.

We remind you that Fotis Ioannidis was announced by Sporting on September 1st and the Lisbon team took out 25 million euros from its coffers to make him theirs from Panathinaikos, with the 25-year-old international striker thus becoming the fourth most expensive Greek footballer in history.

The Greek international made his debut on September 13th in the Portuguese championship game against Famalicão, when he came on as a substitute in the 68th minute.

Ο Ρουί Μπόρχες ανακοίνωσε την ενδεκάδα της Σπόρτινγκ για τον αγώνα κόντρα στην Καϊράτ το βράδυ της Πέμπτης (18/9) για την 1η αγωνιστική της League Phase του Champions League, με τους Φώτη Ιωαννίδη και Γιώργο Βαγιαννίδη να είναι στον πάγκο.

Θυμίζουμε ότι ο Φώτης Ιωαννίδης ανακοινώθηκε από τη Σπόρτινγκ 1η Σεπτεμβρίου κι η ομάδα της Λισαβόνας έβγαλε από τα ταμεία της 25 εκατομμύρια ευρώ για να τον κάνει δικό της από τον Παναθηναϊκό, με τον 25χρονο διεθνή επιθετικό να γίνεται έτσι ο τέταρτος ακριβότερος Έλληνας ποδοσφαιριστής στην ιστορία.

Ο Έλληνας διεθνής πραγματοποίησε το ντεμπούτο του στις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου στο παιχνίδι του πορτογαλικού πρωταθλήματος απέναντι στη Φαμαλικάο, όταν μπήκε ως αλλαγή στο 68′.
