AEK and Fenerbahce put up a great fight at Sunel Arena, however Sakota and Jasikevicius decided not to play the second overtime and the score remained at 102-102.

Competitive for a large part of the match, AEK looked Fenerbahce in the eye in a great friendly at Sunel Arena, in the end, they took it to a second overtime, however Sakota and Jasikevicius decided not to play the second five-minute extra period and the score remained at a satisfying 102-102.

Dragan Sakota's team tested its strength and left excellent impressions, while shortly before the end of the regular period it was at +5 (84-79). There it received an 8-0 run and fell into a hunter role, before tying at 88-88 with Antonis Arms, but was again hurt by a three-pointer by Biberovic that was… clutch.

Arms responded with a stunning basket for 90-91 at 44.5″ before the final, the defense came out and Silva won shots at 10.1″. AEK's tall player had 1/2 for 91-91, with Colson having the winning shot from the corner, but finding iron to take the match to overtime.

There, Hall continued to do huge damage to AEK, writing 95-100 in the 43rd minute, but AEK responded with a 7-0 run to go ahead 102-100 in the 48th minute. Baldwin missed a three-pointer, Beycott took the offensive rebound, won shots and threw them in the trash, Flionis missed a three-pointer and Biberovic sent the match to the second five-minute extra period with a difficult two-pointer.

ΑΕΚ και Φενέρμπαχτσε έδωσαν τεράστια μάχη στη Sunel Arena, ωστόσο Σάκοτα και Γιασικεβίτσιους αποφάσισαν να μην παίξουν τη δεύτερη παράταση και έμειναν στο 102-102.

Ανταγωνιστική σε πολύ μεγάλο μέρος της αναμέτρησης, η ΑΕΚ κοίταξε στα μάτια τη Φενέρμπαχτσε σε ένα σπουδαίο φιλικό στη Sunel Arena, στο τέλος, την πήγε σε δεύτερη παράταση, όμως Σάκοτα και Γιασικεβίτσιους αποφάσισαν να μην παίξουν το δεύτερο έξτρα πεντάλεπτο και έμειναν στο χορταστικό 102-102.

Η ομάδα του Ντράγκαν Σάκοτα τέσταρε τις δυνάμεις της και άφησε εξαιρετικές εντυπώσεις, ενώ λίγο πριν από το τέλος της κανονικής διάρκειας βρέθηκε στο +5 (84-79). Εκεί δέχθηκε ένα σερί 8-0 και έπεσε σε ρόλο κυνηγού, πριν ισοφαρίσει στο 88-88 με τον Άντονις Αρμς, όμως και πάλι πληγώθηκε από τρίποντο του Μπιμπέροβιτς που ήταν… clutch.

Ο Αρμς απάντησε με εκπληκτικό καλάθι για το 90-91 στα 44.5″ πριν από το φινάλε, η άμυνα βγήκε και ο Σίλβα κέρδισε βολές στα 10.1″. Ο ψηλός της ΑΕΚ είχε 1/2 για το 91-91, με τον Κόλσον να έχει το σουτ της νίκης από τη γωνία, αλλά να βρίσκει σίδερο για να πάει το ματς στην παράταση.

Εκεί ο Χολ συνέχισε να κάνει τεράστια ζημιά στην ΑΕΚ, έγραψε το 95-100 στο 43′, όμως η ΑΕΚ απάντησε με 7-0 για να περάσει μπροστά με 102-100 στα 48″. Ο Μπάλντουιν αστόχησε σε τρίποντο, ο Μπέικοτ πήρε το επιθετικό ριμπάουντ, κέρδισε βολές και τις πέταξε στα σκουπίδια, ο Φλιώνης αστόχησε σε τρίποντο κι ο Μπιμπέροβιτς με δύσκολο δίποντο έστειλε το ματς στο δεύτερο έξτρα πεντάλεπτο.

Το οποίο οι δύο ομάδες τελικά δεν έπαιξαν, ώστε να μη ρισκάρουν το παραμικρό. Η καταπόνηση ήταν ήδη μεγάλη και από τη στιγμή που δεν υπήρξε ανάγκη να προκύψει νικητής, οι δύο προπονητές αποφάσισαν να το λήξουν στο 102-102.
