Norris dominates Silverstone FP2

McLaren's Lando Norris was fastest in Silverstone FP2, with Leclerc and Hamilton following in Ferrari, while Red Bull and Mercedes are unconvincing ahead of qualifying.

The action at the British Grand Prix, the 12th round of the 2025 Formula 1 season, continued with the second free practice session (FP2), with drivers and teams fine-tuning their car setups and gathering valuable data with qualifying and race simulations.

McLaren's Lando Norris was fastest with a time of 1:25.816, the only one under 1:26! Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was second, just 0.222 seconds slower, while Lewis Hamilton finished third. Red Bull's Max Verstappen struggled, taking 5th place.

Mercedes did not impress, with Kimi Antonelli the team's fastest driver, while Aston Martin's Lance Stroll took 7th place. FP3 will take place on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., before the battle for the pole position.

Ταχύτερος αναδείχθηκε ο Λάντο Νόρις της McLaren με χρόνο 1:25,816, μοναδικός κάτω από 1:26! Δεύτερος ήταν ο Σαρλ Λεκλέρ της Ferrari, μόλις 0,222 δευτερόλεπτα πιο αργός, ενώ ο Λιούις Χάμιλτον τερμάτισε τρίτος. Ο Μαξ Φερστάπεν της Red Bull δυσκολεύτηκε, παίρνοντας την 5η θέση.

Η Mercedes δεν εντυπωσίασε, με τον Κίμι Αντονέλι ταχύτερο οδηγό της ομάδας, ενώ ο Λανς Στρολ της Aston Martin κατέλαβε την 7η θέση. Το FP3 θα διεξαχθεί το Σάββατο στις 13:30, πριν τη μάχη για την pole position.
